Not as impressed with the Kinvara 12 as I have been with previous Kinvaras. The 12 seems more like a casual boat shoe instead of a running shoe

The quality of this shoe has gone down over the years, sad. I have bought several pairs over the years but my last purchase is my last. Customer service has gone down as well. Was the brand sold a few years ago, what happened?

These are very thin have no support/cushioning and I thought about returning them but threw the box away. Very disappointed for the cost. They do not seem like they are going to last very long.

I bought this shoe after my regular-width Kinvaras started killing my feet. Wide foot can mean a bunch of different things, so I'll give you my specific case. My foot is wide in the toebox area (thanks to a couple of small bunions), but regular width in the midfoot and heel. These shoes didn't work at all. At the bottom of the toes (MTP joint) they are just as narrow as regular Kinvaras. And the midfoot area is even tighter than regular Kinvaras at the bottom, yet has all this extra fabric at the top of the midfoot -- which is the only place I would consider them "wide". I've had a couple pairs of Kinvaras and loved them, but this shoe won't work for you if you need a wide toebox.

I have run in this shoe for over a decade. It's simply not recognizable and not in a good way. It feels like a flatter tempo racer, not a balanced cushion/ tempo trainer.

Design and comfort is OK but it releases dye on my clothes (mainly socks), feet and even hands by just touching it. Dye seems to be coming from the tongue (by the color).

I have owned the Kinvara 1's, 3's, 9, 10, and 11's. I have always struggled with the sizing of this shoe line. A full size is to long and the 1/2 sizes are to short. (Except for the 3's, the 3's were perfect for some reason in the full size and were my favorite because of that.) The 11's are extremely comfortable but run a 1/2 size to big in a full size for me and because the tongue is so thick it is hard to get the fit locked down. They are very soft and good for recovery runs but as far as speed goes, especially sprinting,.. a definite - no go. Also the 11's broke down extremely fast. I barely got to 70 miles before noticing. I actually went backwards and purchased the 11's before the 10's and have found the 10's to be more "Kinvara-ish" and because of that, prefer the 10's right now.

I see all these great reviews on here but I just don't see it. These Kinvara 11 squeak when I walk. On any surface. And there is no structure in the side of the heel. I rolled my ankle bad because of this. My heel slid over the outside of the sole and rolled over...

I've always worn a regular width shoe but Kinvara 11 regular width is too narrow for me. Unfortunately I already worn it outside (too excited) so won't be able to return. Buyer Beware.

I ordered the Kinvara 12 in my usual 10.5 that I've worn in every other Kinvara model. They arrived and seemed a little big but after a few runs they are actually way to big. I don't have the box and have ran about 5 times in them hoping I would get use to them but unfortunately the are no good. Really wish I could return them.

For me, the Kinvara 12 does not provide enough structure and support for my feet. I tried them twice for a shorter distance and a little speed work and my feet felt terrible after, namely the soles of my feet. I imagine with the update, the treads/traction's on the soles were really shrunk down in the name of a lighter weight. I wished they worked out better.

This is my fourth pair of Kinvara's, I had the v7, v8 and v9 loved them running many miles in them. The v11 is a different story - the shoe has a very rigid heel and is giving me horrible blisters / sores on my left heel. I have tried to tie the shoes tighter and use different knots to lock the foot in place but does not seem to help. It seems that my left foot needs a bit of flex in the heel which the Kinvara v11 does not offer. I compared the Kinvara v11 to some other shoes I own and they are much more bendy and flexible in the heel portion of the shoe. My right foot is fine which is odd, maybe it is a foot strike thing but I did not think that everyone had perfect stride and footstrike for such a rigid shoe.

Been running in Saucony size 11.5 for many years. This Kinvara12 11.5 is about 1/2 to 1 size too big. Unpleasant to run in. Disappointing.

I have been disappointed in the lack of size consistency with the Kinvara series. I wear a 7 1/2 but since the 10's and 11's came out I have had to size down to a 7. Today I received the VIZPRO Kinvara 11's size 7 and they are too small. Frustrated loyal customer.

I was excited to get these lightweight shoes. However, I wasn't a fan of the foam sole. It felt like I was walking on a sponge. Obviously others really enjoy these shoes but they just weren't for me.

the material on the bottom of this shoe is the weakest i have ever seen/used
be ready to buy a new pair every month, as the bottom completey wears off to a flat base as if it were made of paper or something.
i would not wear these for a marathon unless they were brand new because they will be completely worn out by the end of the race.
these shoes are the most comfortable i have every worn, but the bottom sole quality and endurance of material makes this 100 dollar shoe worth about 20 instead.

This is my 3rd Generation of Kinvara and while they're the most comfortable running shoe I've ever worn the lack of rubber on the outsole has made them the least durable shoe I've ever worn and traction is subpar. With less than a hundred miles on them, mine are pretty worn and slippery, even compared to a pair of Kinvara 8s that have a couple hundred miles on them. Very disappointing.

I have run in the Kinvaras for many years. Just bought the Kinvara 11's to replace the 10's. First two runs no problem, then my third run, the backs of the shoes have rubbed huge blisters on my heels. Looking at the shoe, there is a seam and a hard horizontal piece that is rubbing on my heels. I have compared to the previous Kinvaras and they seem to have a one piece heel with nothing hard in it. I do wear insoles, like I have in the past shoes, so my foot does sit higher then normal. Should I have adjusted the size up?
I am frustrated and disappointed in the shoes, as I am training for a marathon and can't afford to miss days because of blisters.

Very comfortable shoe, but after just a couple of runs, the right shoe/heel squeaks on each road impact - unlike any other Kinvara or running shoe I've owned before. Quite disappointing.

I have owed Kinvara shoes in the past. They were much better than this current shoe. I don't like the sole and it feels like there is no cushion. I have been consistently running, but after a week in this shoe, I noticed pain in my legs. I suggest getting the Saucony ISO Rides if you are running on hard surfaces. I ordered another pair of ISO Rides and will wear the Kinvara as weightlifting shoes.

I had an earlier version of the Kinvera years ago, it was my favorite shoe. Since then it seems to have gotten more narrow and I have been unable to wear. Well I was all kinds of excited when this version came in wide sizes. Unfortunately, not wide enough. I normally wear a 12 wide in most anything but these 12 wides are just not very wide. 10 miles in and my feet were killing me. I love this shoe, if they could only give it some room.

I've seen a couple reviews on here with first impressions..."great shoe after 2 weeks." But today marks 1 month for me with about 130 miles. These shoes are toasted because the exposed PWRRUN cushioning has been chewed away by the road and doesn't last long. Not sure why Saucony has soft foam exposed to hard road surfaces. It's like taking sand paper to cheese.
I wish I could add a photo of the mid foot: totally flat where it used to be filled with cushioning. These are extremely comfortable while they last. I've had New Balance and Asics last 300 miles so I feel ripped off here only getting to 130. I'm disappointed, won't buy again, won't recommend to my athletes.

Was excited to try these because they are light and low drop; however , had to return as the sizing seems all off. The fit is narrow and the toe-box is way too small. I would suggest Saucony look into Altra/Topo toe-box sizing for a much more natural toe splay.
