Really good support, stability and comfort even on rocky trails

They look great and feel great. So pleased with this purchase.

I have had a lot of foot & back problems (sciatica, plantar fasciitis, etc) These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I absolutely love them!

Fit my feet like I'm wearing 'foot gloves'. Light weight. Stable in wet weather.

They run a bit big, so order your normal size or even a half size down. I wore them for several hours the first day and no issues whatsoever.

I purchased this shoe for hot weather biology field research. I opted for the breathability over water-resistance, and this shoe has been comfortable is humid and dry conditions up to about 85-90 degrees F. In humid climates, this shoe wets through very quickly when moving through tall grass with morning dew. The traction has been great in all conditions from dry, rocky hills to muddy wetland. I love the sturdy support in the heel and tow cap of the shoe and the sole protects well against rocks underfoot. The fit was comfortable out of the box, true to size, and with a wide tow box. I highly recommend this shoe, and suggest the water-resistant version if you expect to run into any significant moisture.

I have been wearing Salomon shoes and boots for years. I used these for the first time today to break them in on a 5 mile walk/hike and they were amazing. Comfortable, great grip, solid, light. I would highly recommend them! I wear an 8 and purchased an 8 and they fit perfectly! I love them!

I bought this about a month ago and I have a career and adventurous life that requires a lot of standing and walking. Not once have I experienced any discomfort. The insoles are the best. The shoes run big and it gives space for any swelling from being on your feet for a long time.

So comfy right out of the box. I like that my toes have plenty of room. I have sesamoiditis and lots of trouble finding shoes. I love that my big toes does not hit the end if the shoe. I use a special pad in the shoe and it easily fit in the shoe. Looking forward to a short hike for the first time in years! Love the look, arch support, cushioned interior yet stiffer sole. Awesome shoe!

These shoes are great. Very comfortable, especially in the toe box area. I am typically a size 9 or 9.5 and these fit great in a 9. It took me a bit to get used to the laces but now I love the slider on the laces.

The tread material quality seems remarkably poor compared to that of my previous Salomon shoes--I've never had Salomon gear fall apart like this before. My X Ultra 3 boots from early 2022 are still going strong, and the X Ultra 3 shoes I got around the same time for daily wear lasted almost a full year before I had to replace them due to (evenly) worn tread; but these X Ultra 4 shoes lost an entire chunk of tread two months in--not worn down, completely gone, like a clean shave--and, eight months in, a small area of the outermost surface is actually worn through into the spongy material underneath. I'm going to hope that the X Ultra 360 Edges I'm ordering now are better quality, but, wow, what a disappointment this product has been compared to the others.

I just bought them and haven't used them yet, but these hiking boots Look nice.
