Just bought these and was really hoping to bring them to Washington state with me, but they were huge! I returned and re-ordered a size and a half down because my toe was over an inch away from the top of the shoe. I'm usually a womens 9 and the 9 fit like a 9.5/10. Ordered an 8, and I'm hoping these fit because they seem like really great hiking shoes.

I've owned these shoes a little over a year now and they are honestly the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. We are hikers and I needed something reliable that would not wear my feet out. They did not need much breaking in because they were comfy right away and even though someone recommended insoles, I have never needed those. They've been worn on a ton of 20 mile hikes last year and lasted perfectly on 30+ mile hikes across the Grand Canyon. They do not bruise, pinch or hurt and outside of the dirt, they still look like they did on day 1 - the quality is what you expect and deserve for the price. Obviously everyone is different, but these are worth checking out and I hope you love them as much as I do! Happy hiking!

I like this pair of shoes, but I could lke them so much more if they weren't so hard to put on. I cannot just slip my feet into the shoe, I have to hold the tongue as far out as it goes, and as such, it seems much shorter than those of my other 2 pairs of Salomon. The other shoes have the tongue attached to the shoe so it stays up, but not these. Here the tongue"falls into the shoe" and is hard to pull out/up when trying to slip the foot into the shoe. Therefor I hardly wear them and cannot recommend them.

The X Ultra 3s we're fabulous., They worked for so many people. And so Salomon changed what is working just fine and made a different shoe! This is very frustrating.

I ordered a women's size u.s. 8.5 and the tag on the shoe said that was the size. However it was two sizes to big. I have them to my daughter who wears a size 10.

Wear them everyday for work. Wish they were a little more breathable.

I've only ever used the XA Pro 3D as a day hiker but I bought these shoes and couldn't be happier. The traction is great and I had zero issues with them. I bought my usual Salomon size, which is a 10. In other brands I size up to a 10.5 but I find Salomon to run narrow and long, which is perfect for my narrow but big feet. Ha ha.

I bought my shoes a month ago and to me is so hard to find shoes as comfortable as Salomon's that aren't too expensive. I love them!

I have worn this evolving hiker/run shoe for over a decade - the colors use to be awesome and the quality eventually with vibrant base until now. SO super disappointed when looking to get my new pair not sure what to purchase now maybe that was my last Salomon shoe

Used them a couple if times and they are super confortable.

So happy with these shoes. They needed no 'breaking in'. Was able to walk a few miles first time wearing them.

The X Ultra 4 women's hiking shoe is as described. For me I found the size true to size and very comfortable. I love the quick lace system. It is easy to tighten or loosen as my feet swell. Please note that I rated top marks for durability based on previously owned Salomon shoes as I expect these to be as durable.

Ordered and received the shoe quickly. Love the fit and find it very comfortable. The shoe is light and had a great arch support. My feet are going to love these.

I bought these after much deliberation and very happy with them, they are fantastic shoes and have worn them virtually every day since I bought them! During cold spell they were also surprisingly warm and waterproof. So good I need another pair.

Got these boots as a birthday gift from a friend. I have plantear fascitis and they are just perfect. Super comfy and great for my hiking routine.
