My girlfriend and i bought this boot for our acatenango hike. No complaints whatsoever. They have great traction, lightweight and keeps your feet cool & dry. Thank you solomon for this great boot.

I have had these boots for 2 weeks. They are very comfortable and stylish.

I have had these for a while now and hike about 3 miles every day in them. I have wide feet with high arches. After switching out the insoles for Superfeet, these boots are very comfortable and underfoot feel is much better. Traction is excellent. No rain yet so I cannot address waterproof aspect. Lacing takes a little trial and error to nail down, but I finally know how I find it most comfortable. Durability will require a lot more wear time. I think the boots look great. I have many pairs of hiking boots, including very high end, and the X 4 ultras are perfect for daily wear and mostly groomed trails.

First shoe I bought that feels like I am walking on clouds. Super comfortable and durable where I can walk on anything and everywhere.

Bought these in Miami and took them for my Puerto Rico Trip and it was completely worth it! I was the only one not slipping on the rainforest hike, People had wet feet but NOT ME!!! lol

I bought these for longer hikes on rough trails in hills for which my Cross Hike 2 Mid were not comfortable enough with their ultra thin laces and less support in the soles through which you can feel every rock after a few hours. It's very difficult for me hiking boots that fit because I have wide feet and a bunyon on one of them. Salomon hiking shoes in wide width provide enough room in the toe box and the upper is flexible enough not to press hard on the bunyon. These fit me great out of the box with no break-in period required. I've now done a few half and full day hikes in them and I'm very happy with them. My only gripe is that I was forced to buy men's model because the women's wide only come in a very light gray color that is both impractical and so ugly that I couldn't stomach it. I am completely baffled why Salomon has chosen that color among all the others as the only one for women's wide width.

I'm thrilled with the quality and comfort with all Salomon products but these are even better.

Loved my X Ultra lows so much I got a pair of mids. They are just as great. My only wish-it-had would be quick laces. I did replace my laces with the quick lace kit, but the top lace point is a hook. No hole to lace through. It works, but a hole would be nice.

Great fit, excellent quality, solid performance and looks.

This is my 3rd pair of Salomon hiking boots and I love them as much as my first pair. I don't even look at other boots when shopping now as I've had lots of other brands in the past and they just didn't last.

Best hiking shoes I've ever owned, true to size and comfortable all day long.

About 3 years ago I bought the X ULTRA 3 MID GORE-TEX and wore them out so am buying the new version, the X ULTRA 4 MID GORE-TEX.

I have wide feet and these are plenty wide. Great ankle support and very comfy.

I purchased these right before participating in a two week military training program. They performed beyond my expectations. I will be buying two additional pair ASAP.

The shoe is made perfectly for what I use it for. I'm excited to see how they pan out.

This purchase was actually my second pair. My first are a few months old, and are holding up wonderfully. I bought the second pair because I don't want to have to go looking for something else when my first pair finally wear out - I just want to pull this second pair out and keep going. That's how much I love them.

These boots are amazing They are extremely light very durable and extremely comfortable.

I love this and like all the Salomon range they seem to fit true to size (in my case UK12.5). After a couple of gentle strolls to get them worn in been doing 10 miles plus most weekends and not a single problem with them. Also clean very easily and still looking good as new.

I wore these boots for the first time today. They are very comfortable from the start. I took them on a 2 mile walk and they felt just as good, if not better than my walking shoes. I have had them on all day with no discomfort. My wife just bought the same kind tonight.

First test for these boots was the winter Fan Dance. A 24km race following the SAS route over the Brecons. I purposely paid attention to how other people's footwear performed in the icy mountain conditions. These boots were flawless. Where other boots failed these had no issues. I was filled with confidence. I now refuse to buy any other make of outdoor footwear.

These excellent shoes are ideal in variable conditions of rain, slush, snow, mud. The waterproof boot last dries quickly when out is pouring rain. The boots have excellent lateral support which is perfect in changeable conditions of fresh snow.

As the title says, I tried out 20 plus pair of boots, and kept these and one other pair. They run narrow, these are the only Wide footwear I've ever owned. They are super light, almost like a very light shoe. The grip is great, and they breath Super well. I got these for warm weather wear, and immediately took them to Costa Rica for hiking. Ended up hurting my feet in diving flippers, so wore these most of the vacation rather than sandals and they worked great. The customer service was excellent to deal with when I had questions or issues also. Highly recommend these boots.

This is my first pair over these after a recommendation from a friend. They are very comfortable and pleased that they come in a wide fit.

Really good fit! Wore them all day after I got them and not a slightly sore foot!
