This mask was recommended to me by a friend and does not disappoint! The seam down the middle helps keep the mask slightly away from your face so you can talk without it sticking to you. It comes with some replaceable filters so its nice not to have to clean it all the time. It also has a nice bendable bar on the top which really helps prevent fogging of my glasses. Both my husband and I use them now exclusively. Highly recommend!

As advertised. If your done with DYI masks or scratchy medical N95 masks then this is what your looking for as an alternative.

As we all adapt to our new mask life, I've tried a few different options from other various outdoor manufacturers. The Essential mask far and away has the best seal around the nose/cheek area I've experienced yet and I can literally wear this mask for hours without any fogging of my glasses. The adjustable ear straps are also very thin, so when properly adjusted, they all but disappear. Nice job, OR.

Better than any mask I've tried thus far! It covers all important areas with no gap, allows you to talk and move your chin without it slipping off, the ear loops are adjustable and don't make your ears stick out, very comfortable, very protective. Highly recommend the purchase, totally worthwhile

Just recieved mine and my wife's! High quality, lightweight and breathable! AND not to mention it doesn't FOG up my glasses. Well done Outdoor Research!

I have struggled trying to find a mask that fits my pumpkin head and didn't pull my ears off. For reference, I wear a size 4XL motorcycle helmet, my 2XL ski helmet is tight, and my wife and daughter modify knitting patterns to upsize the hats they knit for me. This mask breathes very well, my glasses do not fog, and they appear to be well made and durable (time will tell, but my prior experience with OR products is that they have long lives). My wife, who has a normal sized head, also says they are the best masks she has used. I had high expectations on this mask, and I was still impressed. Thanks OR, well done.

This mask fits nicely without needing to constantly adjust or pull it back over your nose. The adjustable ear loops and flexible insert at the nose makes it easy to customize the fit to almost any face. I'm able to wear this mask comfortably for hours while meeting with coworkers, leading programs outdoors, or just talking to guest at my organization. I highly recommend these if you're tired of fighting your face mask!

Easy to use, mask needs to be aired out as it smells. Fits well and the nose area has structure so that glasses don't fog up. Would buy again

Thank you for hiring additional staff to build the new essential to daily life as we now know it. I think the price is fair for a reusable product to protect both lovers and haters out there. Keep doing what you're doing OR!

Really like the face mask. Good fit and adjustable. I like that there are disposable filters. The filters however are not the best fit and often need to be adjusted.

Adjustable and comfortable. The replaceable filters are nice, but they don't always want to stay put in the mask.

Comfortable and works great. Sometimes you have to readjust the filter, but other than that, I love it.

Works as expected

Good masks. They fit well and I like the material, but the newer 3-layer OR masks are even better.

I have a bunch of these masks and they are pretty much the only ones I wear. They are comfortable and not too hot in the summer. The wire nose bridge is very adjustable and does a great job of keeping glasses from fogging up. My one complaint about the mask is the way the filter pocket is designed. It's not easy to get the filter seated well, and it doesn't stay in place. Other than that I'm happy with them overall.

I like the overall fit of the masks very much, but when I use the liner, it becomes a bit problematic. Moving the mask up and down isn't easy and I have to take the mask off to adjust the liner. It doesn't stay put. I bought the OR 3 layer masks and actually prefer those to this style.

Nice mask that include filters. But it is quite large compared to other masks

comfy mask, I wish there were a better pocket for the filter. it also picks up smells - esp from breath/spit - really easily and get super funky...and I brush!!

The mask - size, fit, style - is incredible. The only thing missing from being 5 stars is that the filter insert doesn't stay in place well. Solve that and it's a solid 5.

This mask (with replaceable insert or filter) is an effective kit, and the price is reasonable to good (on sale). The use of the insert is a little more work and raises questions about how to handle the mask and how often to clean it, but is working well so far for me.

Would be better to have an insert for the filters rather than the filter being held by the side sleeves. I can't keep the filters in place especially with aerobic activities or in humid environments. Love the fabric, appreciate the long ear loops so I can attach a mini carabiner/clip and have the mask around my neck when not needed.
