The liner of the mask tends to bunch up when wearing it and makes it uncomfortable to wear. The mask is expensive and needs a better design for the liner so it will stay in place.

My experience is that the filter DOES NOT stay in place at all, and this is so frustrating. Because the filter is quite flimsy (and probably cut just a little too large) and the loose mask side pockets cannot properly hold the filter, it is almost useless. If the side pockets were not slippery and loose, and if the filter was of more substance - thicker, it might stay in place. Also, don't know what the filter is made of but for those of us sensitive to chemicals in fabrics this causes face/nose itching.

Everything about this mask is perfect, except the size. Unfortunately the mask was so large I would have to fold the bottom over to make it fit my face, which is averagely sized for a woman. Super disappointing because I put a ton of time into researching the best quality product and thought I'd found it. I would definitely buy more if they come out with different sizes. If you have a larger face I would definitely recommend.

It's soft and adjustable, but it leaves marks under your eyes.

The mask fits well, is easy to adjust, and comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. However the filters don't seem to fit very well in the mask and have a tendency to get bunched up or folded over after time.

The good part is it's adjustable. Soft, but leaves a mark under your eyes.

Wearing this without a filter is very comfortable but the way the filters fit inside the mask makes it hard to keep them in place. It doesn't take long for the filter to get soft from your breath and then they move all around. I bought extra filters but I won't end up using them because I only wear it without. The cost of shipping makes this mask way too expensive. For the cost of one mask plus delivery I bought three Baggu masks which I actually prefer for most situations. If I have to wear a mask while being active I will still use my OR mask (probably without a filter) because the fit is very good.

The mask is great, but it doesn't help my wife as it only comes in one size. Need a junior size.

The moldable nose piece does not work so well.

Fit is hard to customize (get snugger) around the nose/cheek area. Chin fit is awesome. Hard to breathe when it's warm with the filter- have not tried without the filter. Ear loop adjustments work great.

This mask would have been perfect if it had fit. Unfortunately, it went from the top of my nose (my glasses sitting on the mask) to far enough below my chin that it stabbed me in the neck. I do have small bones, even for someone assigned female at birth, but I'm 5' 7" and medium weight. The mask was otherwise perfect! I'm disappointed since I also bought enough filters to qualify for free shipping so this was a hefty expense for something I can't use. Gave it to a 6' friend and it fits him perfectly. I am really hoping OR will make a smaller mask available. I would only recommend this to friends with bigger faces.

The filter insertion is confusing

This mask is great. I love the feel and it's very breathable and lightweight. But the filters. Ouch. They don't stay in place at all. This mask is not a good solution if you frequently take the mask off and put it on throughout the day or if you need to grab it and put it on quickly. Plus I feel by having the filter be the part that touches my face, I am changing filters more frequently than would otherwise be necessary. The filter gets smelly quickly and there's nothing you can do but pitch it and get a new one. I strongly suggest keeping the same basic design but creating an opening on one side to insert the filter into a pouch to hold it in place and so my face touches the back of the mask rather than the filter. I understand there could be a slight sacrifice in terms of breathability but I think it would be worth it. If you do this, I will gladly by several more masks.

Nice design and the fit is better than most. My complaint is that it's promoted as a very breathable fabric and I can't honestly say that's been my experience. I wear one of these daily in my job (mainly outdoors in No CA) and find it's no more comfortable than masks at a fraction of the price. Don't regret the purchase, but I will not be buying more.

Outermask is exceptional. Filter-inserts need work. They bunch up in the mask leading to discomfort.

I purchased three of these masks. I like the masks themselves, they're comfortable and the ear pieces are easily adjustable. But the filters are to small. The wings of the filters barely reach the side pockets of the mask that are meant to stabilize the filters. As a result, the filters pull out of the side pockets as soon as you put the mask on and then bunch up and slide around. Sometimes, the filter partially slips out of the mask. I solved this by buying a dozen filters from another face mask company. They were a bit to large but fit perfectly after I trimmed them down. They have large wings that fill the OR face mask's side pockets and secure the filters so they don't slip or bunch up.

Eh. These are polyester and thin, definitely would need the filter.

Reasonable price but the insert is hard to place and moves around resulting in it bunching up. Overall, it's much thinner and less robust than a N95 respirator but it fits nicely and is very comfortable. I use it for general shopping or other light contact areas. I wouldn't feel comfortable using this in an area of significant outbreaks or enclosed areas like going to a doctor. OR should fix the insert. I spend a good deal of time realigning it through out the day.

I use the mask daily and have purchased additional units for family members. The mask cut and nose bridge are comfortable, and the elastics that go around the ear are easy to adjust. The one persistent downer has been the frequent wrinkling of the disposable filter and its apparent different cut than the mask shape. I have tried several orientations when "loading" the filter into the mask, but all produce the same effect of discomfort under the nose. This one flaw is holding my rating back from five stars to three stars.

I work in a marine environment on a boat. I fond that windy conditions make the inside filter become loose and falls to one side.

Great quality I've come used to with OR. Only challenge is the filters fit so tight in the mask its hard to get them inserted and they can bunch up; not sure how to do it but a better way to insert them and keep them from moving around and bunching up would be great.

Where I work we must wear masks all day which could be 8-10 hours. Its a great mask but way to warm to wear that long. So I wear it when I go to the store or elsewhere in public

Fits well. I'm having to design and add a filter pocket. Without that the filter will not stay in place

Love the fit, but the filter keep popping out. Would be nice if there was a interior covering for the filter.

I love OR and everything always seems to be well-designed, so I was super stoked to try the mask. The way the filter fits into the mask here misses the mark, though. Every time I put the mask on I have to fiddle with the filter to get it into the wings(?) right and it just doesn't feel like the two work together well. I'm disappointed.
