I bought these due to a recommendation from a friend. I normally wear an 8.5, but got an 8 as they were known to run big. When I received them I thought I made a huge mistake cuz they were sooo light in weight. I slipped my feet in and I heard angels sing. I was weary the soles wouldnt last and flatten in no time, im not a skinny gal ;) However, after wearing them every time I cook and am on my feet a lot at home, I have to say they have held up pretty well and my feet don't hurt as bad--plantar faciitis has gotten the best of me at 40+ years old. They are still slightly big on my fred Flintstone feet, but im going to try to work on adjusting the laces a tad. I am most definitely going to be buying more and intend to get a pair for a friend with foot pains as well. It is what I imagine walking on clouds feels like. Oh and they sparkle in the sun, they're really groovy -- yea I said it, groovy! Love my hey dudes!!!

The memory foam doesn't hold up long.
