I wear a 7M or 37.5, sometimes a 38 / 7.5M. I didn't know how to interpret the "snug fit" recommended for these, since they stretch. I found both the 37s and 38s comfortable but "snug," more or less. I settled on the the 37s, even though they seemed a bit short, too, and they quickly stretched to fit correctly. If I'd chosen the 38s, I would have been sliding around in them after a day. I think "snug" means that they should feel tight everywhere at first, but not uncomfortably so. I'd recommend going down a half-size.

I ordered 2 pairs same style size etc. One pair had some definite size discrepancy and something inside the shoe was very uncomfortable. I have the same shoe in white and they are amazing!!

I wanted to love these but they just don’t fit. I have a high instep and these are very tight across the top of my foot, even with the elastic gussets. I sure wish they fit but they are being returned.

These fit really small, like a full size smaller than I normally wear. The upper material is man made but really feels and looks like leather. The pattern on the upper is terrific and adds interest to the shoe. Nice cut on it. But I need to return for another size. Order 1 size up is my recommendation.

This is a very cute shoe but the toe box is much to narrow. I am returning. Keeping the smooth leather style - feels slightly wider.

I have two other pairs of these shoes but did not know they were size 40 so I bought a size 9 which came as European size 39. They are too short on my feet. I will return and get a size 40. Other than that I absolutely love the comfort of these shoes. I am a teacher and am on my feet all day.

I really need narrows. I also need more arch support. The shoe and color was lovely.

This is a nice shoe, but I thought I was buying the Tullip style by Ilse which I prefer the look of. My mistake.

Very pretty shoes. Unfortunately, only comes in full sizes, so there is a possibility of being too short or too long. I purchased two and returned one. Kept the smaller size, but unable to wear them for an extended time since the toes feel pinched

This is my 4th pair of Ilse Jacobsen Tulip show - love the look. They fit a bit big, so have to add a pad, but still love the style and comfort.

I have a pair of these exact shoes, same size, in a tan color with the tulip design and they fit perfectly. These new shoes, however do no have the tulip design, but a much denser dot pattern and have no give or stretch. I love the color and was super disappointed in the size.

I loved the style of the Tulip 140 shoes. Ordered them in black in size 36. Unfortunately they are at least one full size too big. I compared them to other size 36 shoes I own, the Tulip shoes are at least ¾ to 1 inch longer. Wish they were available in size 35. Am returning them.

I bought a whole size larger and it is a snug fit. The shoes are not sized properly. Please advise customers accordingly.

This Tulip shoe is not as comfortable as the older version with the part number 139. The fit is not the same - please bring back the original

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

The shoe ran very small but is very cute.

I ordered 2 pairs of size 42 shoes. One pair was 42 and I am keeping. The pair I am returning is a size 41. In addition the same style shoe is more than a quarter of an inch shorter than your shoes were 2 years ago. The “last “ size is smaller than the past. Someone is not paying attention to quality assurance.

tight in the toe box. fair cushioning. good for running errands not for a day in Disneyland.

Felt very tight and not enough room in toe bix

I really wanted to keep these shoes! I usually wear 8.5 and sometimes a 9 in athletic shoes. I wear a 39 in Ecco Soft 7’s, but the 39 in these as way too short. I tried the 49, and they were too wide and long. If you can find the right fit, you’ll love these shoes. Good luck!

I had to return these for a half size larger. I ordered the same size as my last pair of Ilse’s, which I loved so much I wore them out! Not sure why they were so short. Also, they were rubbing on the outside of my foot but are better. I’m hoping they soften up for my upcoming cruise. Don’t seem as comfortable as my last pair but love the style and I have decided to keep them.

At least a full size too small even though shoe appears quite large.
