I use my shorts to exercise and walking around. I love the side pockets. They are a great fit. I like them so much, I bought 2 more so I can wear them all the time.

Very comfy and functional. Belt insures proper fit! Pockets are numerous and strategic.

I echo my comments on my other review for these shorts. I would, and will buy them again. It'll be a sad day when they stop making them.

I love these shorts. I wear them around the house, going out to eat, hiking and even swimming. They look nice, are comfortable, durable, stretchy and dry quickly. I bought 3 pairs and will probably buy more soon.

I love that they have the belt integrated. I usually use them as an everyday short but I've gone hiking in swimming in them as well and they're amazing for either.

I am lucky enough to work in a field where I can throw my suit in storage and essentially wear whatever I choose on a daily basis. I am always on the go traveling from one place of business to the next, and travel by car is least efficient in a metropolitan area. Weather permitting I typically wear shorts everyday, but the problem with that is unless you're wearing a hefty cargo short, you're more than likely going to be carrying a bag or two throughout the day to stash your belongings. For years my go to short was the Baggies 5" by Patagonia, mix in some Nike and Lulu shorts on occasion. Those shorts are all great, but they all have downfalls that this short doesn't. I'm going to highlight my favorite specs of the shorts that make this short superior: 1) The belt. Most shorts have an elastic waistband, with a drawstring. I'm certain I'm not the only person to have ever tied a knot in my shorts so well that upon do or die time when you finally make an effort to stop in the bathroom you can't seamlessly untie the knot in your shorts. With these shorts the fear of having an accident in your pants is not even a passing thought. The belt does the job in keeping your pants tight, with an added bonus of having a design. 2) 4 pockets. Most athletic shorts have a maximum of two pockets, some even reverting to a small singular pocket or no pockets at all. This short has four, two of which are zippered cargo pockets making carrying daily essentials a breeze with added security. 3) Material. The material for these shorts are unlike any other. It's a little bit thicker than most athletic shorts but does not sacrifice being flexible or lightweight. I feel this is a positive feature because it makes the short more universal by perception. When people see this short (keeping color in mind) in a professional setting, they won't realize that you're sneakily wearing an athletic short by design. This short also has a functional liner that does not interfere with comfortability.

These shorts were perfect for going from hanging around, to a workout to lounging in the hot tub. They dried suprisingly quick as well!

Durable shorts. I am using these to rock climb and they benefit by looking good casually as well.

Awesome shorts! Love the multicolor design on the sides. Wish they did this with the other colors but glad I snagged these. Belt enclosure really helps but mine fit snug so no issues. I order a medium and I'm 6'2" 205lbs. Could of went Large as well.

Fantastic relaxed fit, without the annoying lining you typically find is this style of shorts! Pretty sure i've only been wearing these shorts since i bought them a month ago. Enjoy!

These are the best outdoor activity/water activity/warm weather fun shorts ever. They have a great relaxed fit, and the ability to adjust the waist easily with the built-in belt. I've never been a fan of the built-in liners that these shorts tend to have as a feature, so was very excited to find out that they don't have one. You can do any outdoor activity with these shorts, and are plenty comfortable as a stay-at-home, kick around shorts as well! Enjoy!

This is a sharp, stylish swim trunk. The colors are bright and clean-looking. Very happy with my purchase.

Purchased for my husband who is 6’2” tall. He has a muscular build. He loves the comfort of the shorts. He likes the 9” inseam. He uses them for casual wear, not athletic wear.

A little more thickness than my original 2008 version, but I still have those, and still in great condition. Only wish they were lined like my originals. Great fit and comfort.

Fit and length is just right. Solid fabric, will last a long time.

My new favorite shorts. Length is great! Only wish is that they had a back or third pocket.
