Really, really comfortable fit, perfect for hiking immediately. Feels like they are already "broken in," just like my old pair. They are also good looking. Remains to be seen how waterproof they are.

I loved these boots. They seemed well made and not clunky. However, when walking around my house my ball of foot felt squeezed..I did get a Wide width too. This is actually the widest i had found. Other brands seemed more regular width for a wide. I even bought the low hikers in this style and it was too narrow.. If you have a wide foot, more than a D width, these will not work for you. I am still on the hunt for boots and winter is coming. Have been trying shoes since the fall. Thank god for Zappos return policy!!

Bought them for my son however he has really difficult feet to buy for (severe pronation) and they slipped - however his sister tried them on and loved them so it was win. Nice style, well constructed and good heel/ankle support. Only minor con is the color of the shoe lace is more salmon than red - bit odd but she likes salmon and thought it was cool so another win. General rant: I don't know when the world became obsessed with round laces however (for the life of me) I don't know why as they don't hold nearly as well as flat.... Some things are better left alone, and laces are one - stay flat.

I love these boots! They really are waterproof, so can get a bit warm in the summer. Make sure to use moisture-wicking socks. I've complete 8 mile hikes with thrm and my feet felt great the entire time. No blisters, no rubbing, just pure comfort and support.

Very comfortable and lightweight hikers. No blisters. I personally need a stiffer sole for backpacking but I put in a pair of Super feet inserts and that helps

This is a comfortable boot, wide at toebox, not too heavy or stiff, but while I can't say that the arch support is non-existent, it is barely there. Might be OK with a new insole. I prefered the low-cut version.

I love these shoes. They are lightweight and very comfortable. They just do not have enough arch support

I ordered this shoe in a wide width - they were not wide enough for my arthritic feet and the custom orthotics they require.

The shoe ran 1/2 size too small for me. That may be why the height of the top of the shoe was uncomfortable. I'm going to try another Columbia waterproof shoe in a half size larger and not mid-height. I loved the look of the shoe and was sad that it didn't fit me well.

Returning. The opening is very narrow and the whole thing is undersized.

One of my toenails fell off after wearing these twice. I've never had that happen in my life. I'm bummed because they did have good traction & they were pretty water-resistant.

Way too small….
