Just like every previous pair of Merrells I've had, these were very comfortable shoes and fit well right out of the box. Unfortunately, they also turned to be poor quality and within a month or two of moderate use, began to develop holes in the lining and then on the exterior of both shoes. At this point I've only been wearing them for three months and I'm not confident they'll make it to six without totally breaking down. Very disappointing because I usually love Merrells.

I have maybe thirty miles on these shoes and they are literally falling apart. I gave them two stars because they are very comfortable with almost no break in time. But for the price they should last more than eight hikes. I was fine with the holes in the uppers but now that the tread is falling apart they are dangerous. I'm sad because I loved these at first. But now I would hesitate to purchase any Merrell hiking shoes. Which is a shame because I have a pair I bought maybe ten years ago and they are still in much better shape than these. Quality has clearly gone way down.

Extremely uncomfortable. I was very sad these shoes have not worked for me. They have caused me a lot of discomfort.

I Love the grip! These really are comfortable and have a great fit. My only complaint was the breathable mesh didn't last but about 2 months. I have worn holes in both sides of them. This is also my second pair as my first ripped after less then a month so I exchanged them hoping it was a fluke but then the 2nd pair ripped as well in under 2 months.

Pictured are a few of my Merrells. There is a reason that I love Merrell....but my most recent two pairs have left me disappointed. Picture #1 shows my first pair of Antora Rainbows. They lasted 6 months. I surely thought this was a fluke since all of my other Merrells last for years. So, I bought a second pair this summer. The soles are already falling apart just like the first pair (Picture #2).

I absolutely loved my previous pair of Merrells and my kid is even still wearing them - they were so durable and comfortable. These ones, also comfortable, but both shoes have holes in the just after the thick part by the pinky area... I've never had this problem and switch them out with other shows so they have DEFINITELY not had enough wear to justify this issue! I am soo disappointed and afraid to try another because at this price I really expect them to last MUCH longer!

These shoes are really comfortable, but they aren't very durable. I got these in December 2020 and wear them a few times a week, mostly to run errands or walk on paved trails. The edge of one shoe along the ankle is completely coming apart, and the side of that same shoe is also starting to fray. I can't figure out why this would happen- and it's only on one shoe. This didn't happen with my other pair of Merrells, a low hiking sneaker that I have used much more aggressively.

These shoes are so good for trail running, they're comfortable and can run for hours but unfortunately after 3/4 months they started breaking apart on the sides. I learn that with Merrell if you're a runner you have to change your shoes every 6 months at least, they don't last long. But still love my Merrell

These are so comfortable, so I was really hoping they would last, but after only 4 months they have a hole in the side. I have several Merrells and the quality is usually really good, but not these.

I loved this shoe for the first month. Then it started to break down. First of all, the sole did not wear well. Now, I feel this sort of sharp thing stabbing into my left foot a little down from my little toe on the edge of my foot. What a waste. And, I recently bought a pair to hold in reserve.

On first wear the shoe seemed comfortable but after one non mountainous hike it was clear they lacked arch support. It was almost like wearing a plain pair of chucks or similar in terms of support. The colors are pretty and the grip on the bottom seems reliable.

I am picky but the fit of the shoe was weird and had me resting on my heel. It rolled back. The support was off. I had ordered a wide which wasn't necessary in this shoe. That might have been part of the problem. I returned them.

These shoes look great and are comfortable, but after 2 months they have holes and are fraying badly. The vivid color also fades quickly. They are not at all durable.

The right shoe has a squeak that has progressively gotten worse.

How is it that the original Antora Rainbow shoes in regular width fit great, but the wide Antora 2 Rainbow fits narrow and won't break in? I'm frustrated and disappointed. Also, the original style was a bit cuter, IMO.

I really wanted to like these, but they just weren't comfortable. It was like there was an arch on the outer edge in addition to the normal arch.

I have a pair of the old style Antora Rainbows. I LOVE THEM. I still love them. I have nearly loved them to death. I ordered a new pair, unaware that they had been re-styled. Boo. I just cannot make myself like the updated pair. They hurt my feet and feel too wide. Can someone recommend another pair of Merrells (not worried about the color scheme) that are built more like the older model Antoras?

I usually run an 8.5 in Merrells but with these my foot kept slipping out of the heel.

The overall fit was good on this shoe except that my big toe rubbed against the top of the toe box of one shoe when I walked so I returned them. I returned another pair of shoes that I had purchased at the same time - the Thermo Moc Shell waterproof because of sizing issues - way too much heel lift - and I tried 2 different sizes with heavy socks and my orthotics inserted - made no difference. I have been a Merrell customer for many years. I have feet and knee issues, wear orthotics and have always been very happy with Merrell shoes. Lately though I have had sizing issues and I have read other reviews saying the same. So please dear Merrell - if others are saying the same thing look at your manufacturing. I love the quality and comfort of your shoes overall but hate to pay the return fees. I don't have a lot of in store shopping options on Cape Cod and often they are out of my size and have limited selections.

These shoes are cute, comfy, have great traction, and the colors are fun without being too bright. They seemed like the perfect work shoe but they squeak SO LOUD on the floor, even after wearing them for a couple of hours. It's loud enough to be very noticeable even in a moderately loud environment. I often work with fearful or overexcited animals, so sounding like a walking squeaky toy isn't great. :(

Love the look, but they're so narrow and small. I had to return. This is my normal size in all shoes, including Merrell. Not sure what happened.

Beautiful looking shoe I get a lot of compliments! The support or arch support is not as great as the previous pair of Merrill's! I had to purchase an arch support to put in the shoe.
