Barefoot Essentials and I love them! Perfect for trails or street running.

I suffered from chronic plantar fasciitis in both feet to where I was in tears by the end of the day. Drs. Always wanted to add cushion or inserts but I wanted to fix the underlying problem causing the pain. Researched and stumbled upon "barefoot walking" which trade so much sense and led me to these shoes. It took awhile but I changed my gait and how I plant my foot on the ground and only wore these sneakers. Improvement was slow but steady! I love my Merrell Trail Glove 6's so much that I own 7 prs so they should last me the rest of my life I'm 62. I have since switched out all my shoes to barefoot styles (zero drop, wide toe box) and I'll never change back. My feet and body feel amazing!

Unlike some of the reviewers here, I absolutely LOVE these shoes! They are my first barefoot shoes and I love everything about them. I wear them all the time. They fit my large (size 11 women's) narrow feet and look great. I don't wear socks with them and they work great without them. I like the arch support as is. I have super sensitive feet due to an incident in my youth, and am very picky about my shoes. These have met my expectations and more. I will definitely buy them again. Thanks for the great shoes Merrell!!

So comfy, a little stiff but great tread not to thick but yet I'm not feeling every little thing.

Got these on a nonrefundable deal, but my last pair fit and fortunately these do, too. I'm a size 10 and these seem true to size. They are just perfect for me. I think they're cute, but mostly, they are sturdy and comfortable to me. I can't accidently twist my foot in them and the traction is amazing. My toes have freedom to be in their natural position, but I must wear a thin sock with these, which is fine. Someone posted about how they hated this version because of the arch support. Well, having flat feet, I desperately need that and find it comfortable. People with falling arches will probably love these.

Very comfortable because of the wide toe box. Thin soles make it easy to work the muscles of the feet while protecting you from rocks and other hard objects. Easy to get the tightness dialed in with the lacing.

I have lived in Trail Gloves for 7 years now after winning a pair of Bare Access' at an outdoor event. I literally buy at least two pair a year and have even repurchased two pair in the same colors. They are super lightweight and packable, making them great for travel, and they're all you need on most trails if you are an experienced hiker (the vibram soles have tons of traction, lasts through many uses). I look forward to doing the 7's after I wear out my unopened rebuys of 6's. Seriously, all my other active shoes sit alone in the back of my closet now, these are all you need.

Just buying my second pair in black for winter wear. I am 75 and love some easier trails now. I wore them for 24 days straight on a trip to the PNW this summer. Never once had to think about my feet. This model shoe has a wonderful arch and room for my toes. I have a narrow foot and the heel is a perfect hold. I also have heal bone spurs on the right heel and I can wear these all day in comfort.

I am a 77 yr. Old Tom-Boy who likes to hike with her husband & grandkids. This shoe helps me keep up, gives me great arch support and protects my old, used toe-toes from damage & aches. I can go all day. Thanks Merrill.

Great trail shoe, but I use them as my gym shoes for lifting weights. I like that they are light weight and flat/stable for workouts. Very comfortable

I ordered these shoes after I literally wore my last pair out. I was nervous thinking I had to break a new pair in and how long it would take for me to wear them longer distances. But the first time I put them on they fit like a glove and were so comfortable. I went out on a 5 mile hike and they were so comfortable. I love he support and the traction.

Took them right out of the box and straight to the trail! Hiked almost 12km in WI and they were perfect! Exactly what I was looking for in a shoe! I had zero fatigue after 3.5 hrs on the trail. Love these shoes!

I bought a zebra print pair about a year ago or so., and the fit was amazing. the bottom of the shoe simulates the toes, which I like. The comfort doesn't compare to any I've worn. I wear them all day. Recently brought 3 more on different colors, wish they had the zebra print though, couldn't find it.

The best trail shoe ever!! They have gone from washigton trails to island trails...yelliwstone takes the caje though!!
