I always wear a 40 Narrow in open Birkenstocks, these felt like my toe was squished. Since they don't do 1/2 sizes, I had to send back. When I got up a full size my heel slips and has too much room. Wanted to love them. Color and material is fantastic. Not as BENDY as I thought they would be, felt more like a stiff birk floor.

They take a few times wearing them to break in the sole's and then they are amazing! Well worth the effort!

My hubby loved them. He finally got the correct size for him which was size 13. He is enjoying them and he looks younger wearing them. Great style.

Should’ve ordered my regular birk size. Otherwise a great show, comfortable, looks ok. Just a bit too long & so the arch hit at the wrong spot.

Really comfortable, but the toe is super wide, unfortunately! Wanted to love them!

i normally wear the 8/ 8.5 in the birkenstock sandle but this was just way to big it felt more like a 8.5 or 9 - the shoe looked handsome and i loved the rounded toe - but i'm going to have to order a size or so down to find a good fit - i had to return the shoe - but will try a smaller size -

Great shoes but man do they run big!

These are really nice shoes and seem nicely made but they are huge! I wear a 7 or sometimes a 7.5 in narrow shoes. So I ordered a 38 and they are a full size too large. Unfortunately, they don't have a 37. Darn.

These have better support than most tennies of similar style, but do not feel like Birkenstock sandals. It you are looking for that, don't buy these shoes. If you are looking for supportive shoes and don't mind a bit wider of a toe box (I bought the narrow) then these may work for you.

Like the shoe but it was small on me. Plus I decided I didn’t want leather.

I love the Birkenstock Arran sneaker (had two pairs) and prefer it to this because of fit and moreso, because I don't like the clumsy feel of this wide flat sole. Leather seems nice quality. To get the huggy feel I like I put additions onto the toungue and need something around the heel. Narrow might be too narrow.

Attractive styling, but my heel came out of the shoe when I walked (even after ordering the "narrow"). Had to return.

Disappointed. Not enough cushion or support.

Excellent sneakers with one fatal design flaw. I've worn these shoes with some regularity for the last few years. The foot bed is great (I have a neuroma in one foot and having arch support and a wide toe box helps a lot) and the leather has held up extremely well, however the little layer of glued-in cork in the heel has been the downfall of these sneakers. After 3 years the cork has completely crumbled and the sole is coming apart at the heel, which sort of negates the benefit of having a nice stitched sole. In fairness, I didn't keep them totally dry (not fording streams, just occasional wearing them on a wet day) and I suppose I should have known they wouldn't last but the rest of the shoe is so well made it's a real bummer to have to retire them for this. If it weren't for the cork, I suspect I'd have gotten many more years out of them.

Looks attractive and fits true to size, but the sole is hard. No discernible give. Disappointing as I was looking for a replacement of my Keen Elsa's and these seemed like a good possibility. Will not purchase again.

The shoe was not narrow enough or long enough for my foot

Not like the usual support I get from Birkenstock footwear. This feels flat

I wear 39N in a variety of Birkenstock styles. My toes were rubbing in the end of these, they were just a little too short.

I really wanted to like these shoes. They fit well and were comfortable but were not flexible when walking. I felt like I was clomping when walking. I will be returning these.

I bought these on the recommendation of several people, ordered the size I always were in Birkenstocks, and was so excited when I tried them on at home and they fit like a glove. HOWEVER. I then made the mistake of wearing them outside. Now I have blisters on my ankles where the back of the heel comes up and in the front where the super stuff tongue of the shoe both rubbed terribly. And I’m stuck with really cute, really expensive sneakers that I can only wear to stand perfectly still and not walk anywhere. I even asked my friend if hers had required a “breaking in period,” but she said no. Hers had been perfect straight out of the box. I guess they’ll look nice in my closet, because I won’t be wearing them again. I should’ve just flushed $160 down the toilet.

These sneakers were dirty and had obviously been worn. They were a little to small for me, but even if they fit correctly, I would have returned them. I've been a Zappo's customer for many years and this has never happened before.

Love the look of these - really sad they are incredibly uncomfortable but I have not found Birkenstock sandals comfortable and they truly are the same sole. I think if you like their sandals, you will likely be pleased with these. I can’t get used to the lack of bend in the sole. The leather was also very stiff. They are adorable to look at though.

Super cute! Really wanted these to work but the Birkenstock sole is not for me. I should have known because their sandals and my feet do not work. The leather is incredibly stiff and while I imagine they would soften up over time, I think that would take away from the look of the sneaker. Also,I am looking for something durable to tour in and the cork sole made me concerned about wearing in water. I love th wide toe box and if you wear Birkenstock sandals I imagine this shoe would work for you.
