One of my shoes makes a noise in the toe area with every step. I can't sneak up on anyone or anything. Very comfortable, though.

Heel cup is shallow and my foot felt like it was sliding out with every step. I will have to return these shoes. Rather disappointed for myself, but the shoe may work well for others.

I believe these are the best athletic shoes I've owned based on comfort and stability. Great on my joints and back. However, the inside lining by the heel wore out within 2 weeks, leaving an uncomfortable hole inside the shoe.

This would be a 5 star review if it was based just on the shoe, however I was shipped the wrong shoe/ and size, and had to miss work to return them to receive my correct order. I am still waiting on this.

I like this shoe, but I don't love it - like I do my other HOKAs. This one is more narrow, which I wasn't expecting. So when I wore it on a long (30+ mile) walk, my feet weren't very happy afterward. That may not be an issue for other people, but it was for me.

Shoe fell short of desired arch support. As an over-pronater with flat feet, I need greater arch support.

Loved the show but sadly it dug into my ankle bone and would have caused chafing so I had to send it back. I wish the sides were cut a tiny bit lower - it would have been the perfect shoe.

It is a challenge to keep up with each iteration of the great Hoka line of men's shoes. But, the nature of the business is to keep innovating and coming up with new versions. Unfortunately, what may have been a good version in previous models doesn't always carry through to later editions. So I switched to a different model. Thanks anyway, and I appreciate the 30 day return policy.

After 40 miles, the rubber design on the outside of the shoe that covers some stitching is already peeling. Also, the arch seems higher than the Arahi 4 and gives some discomfort. Otherwise, I'm happy with the Arahi 5. Fit is true to size.

I have bought several Hoka shoes in the past. I ordered the same size I always do, 10.5. When I received them them were way too big. The tag on the tongue stated 10.5, yet the cardboard insert in the shoe stated 11.5-12 if I remember correctly. I ended up giving them to someone else.

The size is perfect and they are comfortable on level or near level footing, but these shoes have very unsatisfactory side support. I am 78 years with two knee replacements and live on uneven property. It feels like I will walk out of the shoes on sidehills. Made the mistake of trying to clean my gutters in the shoes. Had to retreat and change my old ASICS. If I had known this I would have bought them from a store, but COVID has influenced my shopping habits. My wife has two pairs of these shoes and loves them but she never walks on uneven footing.
I'd also recommend:
On Cloud or New Balance 996. Even some much less expensive Brooks and ASICS

The shoe support is good, but nothing compares to the Bondi 6 or any Bondi
I was not happy that there is no pull rings strap as all the other Hoka's come with, why no strap?

I loved the Arahi 3 - it got me back into running after a hiatus from recurring foot pain related to having flat feet.
Unfortunately the heel wore out very quickly and exposed the plastic heel cup which would sometimes dig into my heels during runs.
I purchased the Arahi 4 and unfortunately did not have the same experience as the 3's and experiences a bit of extensor tendinitis - I probably wear my shoes too tight.
I'm trying out the Gaviota in hopes it provides a bit more support.

I live by Hokas but my style was out of stock for women so chose a men's in my size. I wore them once and never again they were very uncomfortable. Will make sure I stick with the women's from now on.
