Still breaking them in, my dog ate the last pair so never got to see the full life of them. Impressed so far!

I have bought two pairs of Hokas, the first gaviota and the second the Arahi. I usually wear either a size 11 1/2 or a 12. With the gaviota the 12 fits perfectly but with the arahi the 12 is slightly too large but not unwearable (so I did not return them). Both shoes are great stability shoes and I wear the gaviotas hiking and save the arahi for more dressy events (dressy is a relative concept). I would highly recommend both but it is interesting that the "same" sizes are actually different. Just something to think about when ordering. In general I think Hoka shoes are great and an improvement over the many running shoes o. The market (do to back problems I am a former runner, now more of a walker/hiker.

Bought these for my husband he likes them but not as much cushion as his other hoka. He said he could wear these for few hours but definitely not a full 8 hour day on his feet

Bought for my 15 year old son. Loved the color and style. Usually a size 9 in Nike and Adidas, but this shoe was a full size too large.

I began my running in a pair of Nike Air Pegasus in the 90s. It took me well into the first decade of the 2000s to get back into it. Since that point, I have gone through a few pairs each of Mizuno Wave Inspires and Brooks Adrenalines. The latter being my favorite so far until.. these Hoka Arahis. First off, they are a very good running shoe for me right now. Right now I have more weight and age on me so I need the forgiving impact that the Arahis provide. The 'but' is the caveat. Fair warning, the heel drop difference, cushioning, and sizing of the shoe are all noticeable. Expect the shoe to feel longer than others of the same size (might be good for those who have feet that swell a bit or prefer a bit of space in front). The cushioning cradles your foot very well, but be forewarned, there may be a week or two of a break-in period (I supinate so my heels felt a little raw for that time period). As for the heel drop, I was coming off a Brooks GTS (go-to-shoe) so I had to get used to having less of a heel drop (it's a minor gait change, but worth mentioning). The upshot is, the shoe ultimately does what Hoka says it will and I for one will continue to enjoy the ride.

I first ordered the Bondi 7 out of recommendations from people, nice shoe very plush and cushiony , if fact to cushiony to my liking, I read where the Arahi 5 was built closer to the ground yet still cushiony , so the Arahi 5 was my choice I love walking in them and jogging is a breeze , my only complete is why are the laces a mile long...

I switched to HOKA on the recommendation of my orthopedic surgeon. The Arahi works best for me for everyday training. I like the changes from version 4 (better fitting mid foot, more responsive ride). And I appreciate that so many of the colours are available in Wide. But I do wish that both of the stability offerings from HOKA came in more bold colours than greys/blacks/blues in wide of course.

I love my Hoka Arahi 4's. But this time I purchased the Arahi 5. They are comfortable to wear, but I'm not crazy about the material used in the uppers. That seems to stretch quite a bit.

Tried them and just seemed to hurt my knees when I wore them and they weren't nearly as comfortable as my older HOKAs. After a chat with great customer service representative she recommended a different model and I returned these. I have only had the new ones about a week but so far, very happy with them. The customer service is as good as the shoe. Thank you!

I wear a 10.5 2E in most brands and ordered the same in this Hoka. Fit is perfect out of the box. 4 stars with one deducted for price which I do for most running shoes.

These are really "cushy" shoes. The sizing seems accurate and width as well. They offer very good support for your feet. The soles are thick and cushy and make the shoes very comfortable for a long day on your feet. I have a fused great toe on my left foot and a ligament problem on my right. These shoes make walking all day an easy thing to do.

This was my first Hoka One shoe purchase. The shoe is very comfortable and provides great foot support. I had mild plantar fasciitis previously and that condition continues to improve since wearing these shoes. My biggest disappointment with these shoes is that the striping on the outside instep over the seam is pulling away after less than 30 days of use that only includes walking and light jogging. I definitely expected better given the price paid for the shoe. If it weren't for the craftsmanship defect, I would have rated the shoe higher. Overall, a very nice shoe.

I wear the shoes on the weekends, when I know I will be walking more than usual. The shoe feels nice and does provide support. My only critique would be that my steps sound loud and heavy, not sure if its just me and part of the show as well. Overall, it is a great shoe!

I would have given these a 5, but I had to get a few pair to find 1 pair that was good. There must be some issue with consistent manufacturing. Some shoes were hard while some were softer. I know each show will be different but I saw some big differences for the same size, same model shoe. I went through all the pairs until I found each shoe that was just right. In all fairness, I have seen this in other shoes from other makers as well.
Now for the pair that I finally settled upon, they may be the best shoes I have ever worn! Good support and great cushion! I love the look and the sizing is spot on.
