Bought these after reading a positive review in a running magazine. I wasn’t expecting anything special, but these surpassed my expectations. They are very light and springy. I struggle to find running shoes that don’t fit too narrowly, these fit like a glove, with a little bit of stretch. I will definitely buy this brand again.

I work as a Lifeguard Supervisor at a waterpark so I'm on my feet walking and running around 12 hours a day 60-80 hours a week May-September. Last year I wore the same Nike Freerunners pretty much everyday and by August they had holes in the bottom. I got my Hokas in May and they're holding up super well. They're so much more comfortable than my previous shoes for work and the traction on the bottom of the shoes has worn down a bit but not significantly. They're definitely the most durable shoes I've ever had for work. My only regret is that I wish I would have gotten a color that didn't show dirt as easily.

Overall they are nice shoes. I just got them so I'm still debating whether to return or keep. They are very light weight but seem to walk hard and stiff. I have a long, narrow foot so they definitely run narrow. The 9 1/2 fits perfectly which is my usual size in most shoes.

1) I bought two pairs mach 4 women's black and fuschia. I kept the fuschia cause I love the style and color. I had to return the black (after try on but never worn them out). Why? The style looks sleek and colors are wonderful BUT the heel cuff construction is a BIT SHALLOW so when I run or walk, the heel cuff would slide up and down a bit. I have plantar fasciitis so I insert an extra pad which raised the heel area. The Rincon is more comfortable and the heel cuff construction is deeper and more padded.

No regrets with this model. I normally walk 3+ miles/day and these Hokas do me right! I hope to buy another pair. Bring back the Mach 4!

What I like: - Versatility. The Match 4 are well-rounded trainers for recovery runs. Their comfort, feel and drop make them also suitable for cross training. In my case, I like doing a ~30min recovery run + gym/HIIT. It does a nice job covering these varied tasks! - Design: neat and elegant. The color combination of the fucsia ones also make them stylish. You can fashion Match 4 for casual outfits with an accent. What I don't like: - Ankle hold: I don't feel my ankles have enough support for longer runs (10K+). I feel my ankles and lower tights sorer after running long distances with the Match 4, a feeling I don't get with other shoes. I made sure I was wearing an adequate size -indeed, the shows are very comfortable. However, the ankle feeling makes me not use them for long tempo runs. Overall, these are very decent shoes. For me, better suited for short recovery runs + Gym work + casual wear

The Mach 4 did run small, normally Hoka runs big on me (I'm a size 10, but wear a 9.5 in Hoka). The Mach 4 was definitely too small in a 9.5 and had to exchange for a 10. All good now. Though not my primary running shoe, I do wear them in the gym and for long walking days. I still wear my Bondi X for running.

The shoes fit well, I went down half a size. They were also quite comfortable when walking. I returned them because they looked too clunky for my taste. They run larger than the Hoka Clifton 8 in width and slightly larger in length.

ZERO padding on the tongue, the shoe hurts the front of my ankle. Other reviewers mention this; I thought I would try anyway. Nope.

This was my first purchase of a HOKA shoe. I was surprised that Zappos suggested I purchase a size 8.5 M . However, it fit perfectly. I usually wear a 8 M, in most shoes. Very comfortable and well made.

I went with this shoe because I cannot stand the available color combinations for the other Hoka shoes. This shoe is pretty comfortable, but I wish it was more cushioned. It runs very narrow, and I ended up sizing up a whole size from what I usually wear (half a size up from my Hoka size).

I am a Bondi 7 lover and had to return these. The toe bed is much (much) more narrow than the Bondi 7s and you could see my (average width) toes pushing against the sides of the toe bed. The material is super soft so I didn’t feel constricted, but I know toes need space.

Super cute and comfortable. Light and good for runs. Only con, the tongue digs into my ankle… probably won’t wear for more than a 5k.

Wear my Hokas when a lot of walking is planned. My feet get hot in them on hot days. I had slipons first and loved them. Wish you still made those.

roomy toe box. Comfortable right out of the box. Disappointed with wear of the sole of the shoe. Sole should be more durable than 3 months walking only 2 miles 4x/week.

This model has more cushion and for me works best for days that i am taking it easy. I did try to do a walking workout with these and that wasn't a great experience as my heel rubbed a bit. Overall i like these for days when i am not looking to push too fast and just want to get some miles in.
