Walking. The stability and support are the best things about the Gaviota 3.Thing I don't like: Need more colors, please. Suggestion - love the almond milk - it is so pretty. I like pinks as well. Thank you.

I've tried a few different styles of Hokas, but they were never quite "it" for me. I have bunions and other foot issues, so I need cushioning, but I hate having heavy, big shoes. The Mach 4 is light but still has enough cushion for me. I train for triathlons, and this shoe is perfect for long runs.

I have tried EVERY brand of sneakers. These are by far the most comfortable, lightweight and supportive sneakers I have ever worn. I was wearing my ON sneakers and started developing lower back aches from walking on an incline. I have been wearing these for a month now and I am so thrilled. I can't wait to buy another pair.

I originally bought the mach 4 and the most recent Bondi. These shoes felt completely different and the Mach was a better fit for my foot. In the same size, the Bondi felt shorter and too tight. I'm recovering from a trimalleolar ankle fracture and originally was trying to find a shoe with more height on the sole because I was transitioning from crutches to a walking boot. The Bondi was higher but it wasn't as comfortable. If you need a lot of distinct arch support I'm not sure the Mach is a good fit for you. The insole and foot bed don't lend toward significant arch support. I did like the Mach 4 enough to buy a second pair so that I could have a pair for outdoor use as well as keep a clean pair for inside the house because it hurts too much to walk in bare feet. I don't have clearance to run or jog yet for 2 more months so I'm unsure how this would perform as a running shoe. For now it is providing consistent support as I go through rehab and transition to walking.

Many hoka products are so recognizable and stand out. This shoe is the solution for those looking for hoka comfort without the flair. It's a sleek low profile design in simple black and white. Looks aside it still delivers the comfort and support I'm looking for in my hokas when I'm running. They're perfect to wear casually and transition into run mode.

Very excited to have found the Mach 4 - it is wider than the Rincon, especially in the mid-part of the foot (under the arch) which is what I needed for a smooth, blister-free ride. Immediately took these for an 8-mile run out of the box and they performed beautifully. Lightweight, comfortable, and great fit. Very excited to make these my go-to-running shoes!

I had back surgery in 2014. I am a nurse and work 40 hrs a week. I absolutely love the support this shoe gives me. They make it possible for me to be out on the floor
