I love Hoke, except I wish they would resize. 9.5s are almost too small for me, 10s are too big. I love their soles and arch supports better than any other shoe I where.

There is too much inconsistency with these shoes they never feel the same . They are good wearing shoes for the most part but they either don't last very long before they start hurting my feet or the bottoms star coming unglued. And they never fit the same . Very inconsistent

I was told to order these by a co-worker a half size smaller than I usually wear. Unfortunately, my co-worker was incorrect. I also didn’t do my research and I actually found a different model that has changed my life…. And in the correct size!

So the size was good for me, but the denser foam on the arch side pushed me over to the outside of my ankle which made it uncomfortable for me. I got the Clifton 8 instead.

These shoes fit well and are comfy right out of the gate. But I'm disappointed. They're just like a regular shoe. They don't have the same plushness of my old Arahi shoes, which are so much more plush even after several years of road running. I'll keep these new ones because they're fine. But if I had known they were going to be like a regular shoe, I might have shopped around for New Balance or Asics, which is what I regularly wore before buying my original Arahis. My husband thinks I probably need to go for something closer to a new Clifton if I want the plushness of the old Arahi. If the structure is going to change so dramatically, why call the shoe by the same name?

Was so upset when I put these Arahi's on- super light, but so stiff:( And way more narrow. I ran 3 days in a row- different degrees, and every ending resulted the same- so stiff, and loud:( But- positive- I discovered I am a lot more neutral than realized and I do not need so much stability- I luv hokas, so kept them for indoor exercise/Hitt WO and bought Clinton-Back to being a happy runner:)

I bought some Arahi's when I first came to college as I live on a big campus and have to walk a couple of miles daily. The newer versions of the Arahi's can't compare to the Arahi 3s. I was so excited for the new versions to come out but they just don't have the same cushion and arch support. Luckily I was able to buy a second pair of the 3s before they sold out practically every where. I love Hoka so much I could never go to any other brand but I wish the 3s would come back.

I owned 5 yesss 5 pairs of the arahi 4s that how much I love these sneakers for running. Trained for 2 marathons last year with them. I won't ever go back to another brand! I was super excited about the 5s but unfortunately I am returning them. I wear wides and these felt soo much more narrow? I did a quick run on treadmill with them and my feet felt so sore! Not as much cushion either? almost felt like hundreds of miles were already run in them. I couldn't figure it out...and all the 4s are completely sold out now. May try to order a different pair of the 5s to see if there's any difference. would the company think about offering more wide options?? I tested all the fast sneakers like the carbons but they were also so so tight. Let's get the wide feet some more love :)

I’m a nurse working long days in a parking lot vaccine clinic. I bought these after reading reviews and talking to people who love them. Maybe I got the wrong style. My feet probate somewhat and after 5 hrs my right ankle was sore. The arch support didn’t help adjust my foot.

I loved the Arahi 4, but this Arahi 5 was much tighter in the mid foot so I returned them. My Arahi 4’s have been discontinued and so I’m bereft. I haven’t found a suitable replacement yet. Sad.

I wear normal width on almost every shoe ever but after reading comments here i ordered a wide one and even that one is tight. How can a wide shoe still be so tight?!

Shoe was too short and not wide enough to wear with socks. This was my regular size in a wide.

Loved the ARAHI 4, but the ARAHI 5 didn't work at all for me! My first run wearing the 5's and I had to stop every mile to adjust the laces. No matter what I did they were distractedly uncomfortable to wear. Please bring back the 4's model!

I have the Bondi and just purchased a pair of the Arahi 5. No comparison. The Arahi is not a good fit. The left rubs my outer ankle and the cushion is horrible. My feet were going numb half way through my 10 hr shift. Couldn't wait to get home and out of the shoe.

Horrible! Tight narrow fit. This is no size B width. I had to drive home from work with my shoes off. They were so tight. They pinched me feet so badly all shift. After a week. I gave up wearing them

I have terrible feet...Bunions, Mortons toe, re-occurring 5th metatarsal stress fractures, hammer toe and narrow flat feet. So, when you find that "perfect" shoe life is great. These shoes in prior versions have been pretty much the only shoe I wear. I even wrote a letter to the company expressing my joy over the fit and how happy I was..... :( Sadly, there will not be one with this recent version. I wear a narrow in regular fashion shoes(Ferragamo, Weitzman, Munro etc...) so for me to say this shoe is too narrow is shocking!

Hoka - what have you done to the Arahi?? I have been running and hiking in Hokas (specifically, the Arahi and Speedgoat) for approximately 5 years... while training for and running various races and distances, including marathons. I had the Arahi 3 and then the 4 (multiple pairs). The 5 is NOT of the same caliber. I can feel everything underfoot, every pebble, every crack, even the paint on the cross walk. I liked the Arahi for its cushion and comfort, but the 5 is not even close to prior versions in that regard. I noticed a tingling and discomfort in my feet from day 1, but attributed that to needing to break them in a bit. Unfortunately, there has not been any improvement, and is probably worse, after running in these for about a month. As someone has has worn Hokas exclusively for so long and converted many friends, I am sorely disappointed about this shoe. I have been considering adding other Hokas to my collection, but I think I'll be heading into the running store to check out some other brands first. Really sad about this.

I use a full insert for my low arch. I have arthritis in my ankles. These are the most comfortable shoes ever and keep me from having any ankle or foot pain! I wear them round the house all day. They are very lightweight.

I live in Birkenstocks, have to have a good arch and they are my go-to shoe but sometimes you have to have an athletic shoe. Hoka is my next favorite shoe for comfort and support. I'm not a runner so can't speak to that, but I can wear the Arahi 5 all day no problem. In Birks I am a 40 N, these the 10 was perfect, toes not cramped, rounded toe box.
