The Arahi 5 is very poorly made. The sides of the Arahi are awful. Flimsy sides. no padding. no support. You would think these would be made with support for the price you pay. Sending these back the same day I received them.

I am an amateur jogger to put it generously (I only jog a few miles a week, max) and yet after only three months of use huge chunks of the soles of these shoes are ripping off :( really annoying when they snag against the ground. Extremely disappointed after spending so much.

I was exited to try these - first pair of Hoka running shoes but unfortunately they are going back. They felt clunky, heavier than other running shoes and slowed me down.

Up until now, the Arahis have been the only shoe I have found in 25+ years of running that I didn't get shin splints running in. I put on the new Arahi 5 yesterday (in the same size I've worn in multiple pairs of the 3 & 4), and couldn't believe how subpar they are. Too small, too narrow, and the toe box was way too stiff. These are NOT the tried and true Arahis that I have loved. So wildly disappointed with this hack job to the model.

I never tried on the shoes. I was so wanting these shoes, but they arrived dirty and worn. The soles looked very dirty. I don’t spend that much money for used shoes

I have a 50 50 Chance with your sneakers. I love them but chances are they are shoddy quality And have a manufactures defect. This last pair I wore for the first time and the loop that attaches the lace to the tongue broke off the first day. There was not a stitch on it just glue. Every other pair it seems I have to return. Then when I go to replace them you don't have my size in stock anymore. Would be nice if you could make a better quality product since I do love your sneakers. Way too many manufacturers defects and poor quality in the past five or six pairs.

The part of the shoe that holds the laces broke after one wear. The exchange process was difficult and then once the shoes finally got back to the seller they were out of stock. 3 weeks of a return process just for no one to tell me that I wasn't going to be able to get new ones.

This is my 6th pair of Hoka shoes so I am not new to this brand. I have consistently had no problems with them in the past, but this pair feel very small. In fact, I will be losing my toe nail as it became infected from banging on the end of the shoe. Very, very disappointed. I would love to know what changed in the design.

I received these shoe today. When I put them on and walked around in my living room I immediately realized these shoes are HORRIBLE. The arch support hit me to far back which was very uncomfortable! I bought these shoes because of the reviews saying they were so comfortable. These shoes are not cushioned or comfortable. They are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever put on. I would give them a -10 stars if I could. Do not buy!!!!!!

I have worn Hokas (specifically their stability shoes) for years and have always been able to just order my size in a new pair when my current pair is worn out. All I can say is that the designers have gutted this shoe until there is very little left to call it a stability shoe. Why would you decide to make a stability shoe more narrow? Why would you skim off material around the ankle? Clearly they are making a cheaper shoe and hoping no will notice, because they are slick looking shoes and come in gorgeous colors. I did give these a test run of 3.1 miles (a good average run for me) just to prove to myself that I wasn't crazy and hypercritical. Results: entirely too much heel movement, shin splints within 1 mile, tender knees post-run. And even with added inserts for overpronation, my feet visibly fell over the instep of the shoe with every step. I hope my review is helpful, but know that I truly hate writing a negative review for a company I have always loved.

This is the second pair of Hokas I have purchased, the first one only lasted 5 months before the bottoms wore out of any traction and started to get shin splints. The second pair I bought in March of 21 and by the second week in June of 21 the bottoms are worn smooth and I have terrible shin splints again. This brand is incredibly expensive and they dont last. I walk five miles a day on the road, these were made for high impact and high use but they don't hold up at all.

I owned a pair of Hoka One One Arahi 3 athletic shoes and they were the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. I don't know what Hoka One One did, but the Arahi 5 is terrible. They attached the tongue inside of the shoe with elastic straps to the arch and outer part of the shoe making the arch uncomfortable. It's like there's a lump there. Not at all as comfortable as the Arahi 3. So disappointing that Hoka One One took a perfect athletic shoe and made terrible changes to the new model making them unwearable for me.

I loved my first pair of Arahis but the new version is rubbing blisters. Hoka sent me a new pair to replace them but they still rub blisters. Maybe I will try a different style?

I exercise walk 5 miles daily. The revamp of Arahi 5 has ruined the fit of the shoe for me. Toe box smaller and support not there when foot rolls to the right. I returned shoes.

I am an overpronator. There is no support here for pronation or the arch. It has thrown off my strike and gait. Since I've used these it's not been good. No support at all.

this is the second pair of the Arahi 5 I have tried. In both cases the shoes caused back pain after running and even after wearing them around the house. I am going to revert back to the earlier model which I had no issues with.

Too narrow and too short. I've loved arahi original, 2,3,4. So disappointed. Why change everything... Go up another size???

I loved my black and white Arahi 4 so I got these but was sad I did not realize the sole is not white but rather 1/2 white and half dirty off white which makes them look very old and like they are not clean, please make next years black and white arahi 6 actually black and white and please make it available in canada!

Let me start by start by saying that is my third pair of hokas ahari's and I truly love the way they fit and feel during my daily walks. I even have recommended to several other friends who now wear their's religiously. However, I have had this pair for less than a month, and there are already multiple holes on the inside heel. This had happened with my previous ones but not until 3-5 months of wear, and the holes eventually led to the metal cutting my heels. Very sad with quality of these pairs and to be returning them so soon, because the fit is like a dream. I wish that they could have held up considering the money I paid.

I was especially hopeful after reading many reviews that these sneakers would work for me too - on my feet for hours on concrete floors. One of the people I work with loves her Hoka shoes. I ordered an 8.5, D width because I have bunions. These shoes seem quite narrow for being a wide. Although they were very nice looking, well made shoes (5 stars for Style), it's apparent that Hoka shoes don't fit me. Disappointing.
