Beautiful shoe; very comfortable on my left foot. Too snug on my right foot. Seems to have a slim fitting cut which does not work for me.

These are very comfortable but I will
Echo the comments about how narrow they are. After running in them for a week, I experienced fallen arches - numb toes, aching arch. I’ve never had this before and wear a normal fit for Adidas and Nike, my normal go tos. I also do not have overly arched or flat feet. Disappointing!

These shoes were very roomy, they actually accommodated my very large custom orthotics and my foot, though my foot is very petite. However, when I put them on, my feet went one way and the toe of the shoe went the other way. Perhaps it was due some to the gussetted tongue?
I'd also recommend:
To accommodate large custom orthotics--Saucony

I’ve been wearing Altras but wanted more cushion, so tried the Hokas. They are too narrow in the toe area. I’ll stick with the Altras. I did like the heel fit and the light weight feel. I’ll continue my search for the perfect walking shoe!

Pro- great color, breathable upper, lightweight, superb cushioning, speedy
Con- uni-sex sizing, loose-fitted heel collar, didn't feel secure.
I wanted to keep the shoe because honestly I ran some fast paces on tired legs with less effort. However, I had the laces so tight I had blisters. I tried my normal size which felt a bit long and wide in the forefoot but a half size smaller felt to short.
I would love to have these shoes in women's only sizing.

This style is not comfortable and does not fit as well as the other two pair of Hoka shoes I own. I would not buy again or recommend.

I wore these about 4 times. Each time they rubbed the tips of my toes raw. I have worn other Hoka's without any issues.

I don't like wearing shoes that are ugly. Plus I felt like I was walking on my toes. No heel support.

I came to the men's section looking for a more comfortable fit without ordering a "wide" woman's shoe. I was excited to see this "all gender" shoe and had wrongly assumed that the fit would be somewhere between a men and women's type fit. THESE ARE UNBELIEVABLY NARROW. These are worse than Nike-type narrowness. I usually love Hokas, and was really excited about this different style, but am just disappointed. If you don't have extremely narrow feet these probably won't fit you.

I was so excited for these to come in, as they were my first pair of expensive running shoes. The length and width were true to fit but the shoe was too high, as in there was a lot of movement of my feet up and down, which has never been an issue before. It also took a long time to break in and the heel of the left shoe kept scraping my foot for 2 months. I decided to keep them because I was hopeful and the sole support and lift off were excellent and I wanted a pair of shoes with the carbon plate. The reason why I had to dock two stars is because water gets in SUPER easily. I only walked for a mile on wet ground to get to my race's start line, not even in the rain mind you, and my toes were already soaked. By mile 4 of running, the whole shoe was soaked through and my socks were completely wet too. These are great in sunny or hot weather but if your half marathon happens on a misty day with wet grounds like mine did, these will be the WORST shoes for you. I blistered after running for 4 mi in squishy wet socks and shoes and wouldn't have finished my race if it wasn't for my fianc bringing me my pair of old Nikes which held up in the rain far better and are actually lighter than my Hoka's! I got those Nikes for $40 and I feel like the Hoka's were a complete waste of money since it didn't help with my performance or post-run recovery compared to my Nikes and they costed me a LOT more money.

The upper toe material was deformed-defective. It wrinkled up when putting on. Very little side to side support.

Feel great. Run great for short distance. I lift, run long distance, and work hard (security guard, coach). 6'2 220lbs. I run 20 miles a week. They are breaking down after a month for me. If you're only gonna run sprinter distance or 2-3 miles it's good. I already feel them leaning. Sole wear. Hoka's are king, but these aren't for me.

I have purchased this model with one goal - I was looking for a light responsive race shoe. I have been wearing Hoka's daily for the past 5 years and it was time to try something other than a training shoes I have been wearing. I was cery happy how it fitted but after just 3 runs it didn't feel like a race shoe, it was more of a training shoe . I liked the stability , as of the carbon plate it almost feels as there is nothing there . I definitely wouldn't recommend this shoe on wet surfaces.. even though this shoe didn't meet my expectations Im still a Hoka fan and will continue to support the brand anyway I can.

worst hoka around....if you pronate, watch out. If you don't pronate, YOU WILL , with this shoe.
It also feels it was made cheaply. I have 4 other hoka models and I hope this quality is not in their future.

This shoe had very poor support (insole) to where when wearing the shoe it seemed like I was turning my foot inward.

I've run in Hokas for over 5 years and love each pair of shoes, except these Rocket X's. I chose these shoes based on the Shoe Finder since I supinate. During and after running long distances in these shoes, the outside of my feet hurt.

Owned three previous pairs of Hupana. Was pleased with fit and cushioning BUT my big right toe cut through the mesh on all. So I decided, using your "shoe guide" to order a different and larger style.
my almost immediate reaction was they were too big. But, I thought I'd give them time... Still not happy.

I bought the Rocket X and tried to run a race in them on a smooth non-technical rail trail. They performed poorly, stability poor and wear poor.
