Due to the hight of the heal it causing serve rubbing on the heel. I'm so disappointed in the shoe and glad I didn't trash my old ones.

Normally a fan of most of the nano's. 5's are the worst then the 11's then 7's.
These fit narrow on me and would rub both sides of my feet raw. I wear a normal "D" width in men's shoes. Other than that these had potential as they had a solid heel with no noticeable division in the foot bed & nano 2 foot strike feel. They just pinched my feet were the heel counter wrapped around and ended mid foot on both size of the shoe. I wear 14s so maybe they just didn't get the upscale #'s right when they made them in 14s.

Out of the box this shoe is great. Way lighter and feels more stable than previous generations. I'm a big fan of the 9s. The one glaring flaw is tall rear portion of the shoe. Pretty disappointed as these shoes are meant for well...exercising in. If you like to wear no-show socks then I would look for a different shoe. They turn in and rub on the back of the Achilles tendon something fierce...not something you want to do dubs in. Other than that running in them is great. Way lighter than previous generations. Also felt super stable doing a metcon with 225lb C&Js. Heal is nice a stable and does not have any mushy feeling during squats. If they fix the heel issue the shoe would be fantastic.

There is very little change from the 9 to the 11s. Personally I long for the nano 4s. The newer versions I find less desirable for Olympic lifts. The soles are too soft and mushy and I don't feel stable while doing deadlifts and squats. The shape of the heel causes blisters.

The shoes look nothing like they did online. When I asked about exchanging for a different color because i wasn't satisfied I was basically told to just buy another pair. Terrible customer service.

Product poorly made. Soles wear out after 2 weeks of use. Just like the Nano 10s. Never will purchase shoes nor socks from Reebok. Quality Control is the worst I have ever seen.

I've wore Nanos for years and never had a pair rip on the second day of wearing them. On the sixth rope climb I noticed the rip in the attached photo. I wasn't a big fan of the Nano X but thought I would give Reebok another chance, I probably won't next time.

My shoes said size 14, yet the tag said size 13. It was definitely too small, it was a size 13. Not happy about it.

If you've come to enjoy the shape, stability, and strong materials of past Nano's then stay away from this shoe. I have been wearing Nano's for the last 10 years and I am really really disappointed to have to give this shoe such a negative review. First I tried the X and it was to narrow for me, so I excitedly waited for the X1. This was a let down. This shoe fits really funny, the width has been corrected but the shape and cut of the toe box is really weird, the material is sloppy and offers no support. Even though the size is bang on the material has so much elasticity my foot slides around on the sole. I was used to the solid support and low cushion of past heal cups. This shoe feels sloppy like trying to squat in a running shoe.
Sigh, one last thing. My first workout in the shoes included 40 burpees. The material on the top where I guess my big toe drags a little is already looking like it is going the wear through.

Would love the shoe if it had the Nano X heal. The heal is too stiff, I have tried putting them in the washer to make them soft.

Reebok has always sought to improve the nano. I appreciate and understand the changes over time, but I wish I could still buy the nano 4s. They were rigid enough for deadlifts and squats and not too stiff for running. The X1s and too spongy, and ran bigger than I expected. The nano Xs ran small for me. They feel way loose on Olympic lifts and it felt like i was lifting in a running shoe. The shape of the shoe rubs against my ankle and I already have blisters.

I've been a CrossFit coach for 8+ years, and have had basically every Nano since the OG's. The versions that I love become my training shoes, and the versions I don't like become my coaching/beat up shoes. The X1 is the latter, for sure. They're comfortable to wear casually - with socks that cover your heel - and they look very good. But that's where the good stops. In a workout, the mesh upper is too flexible, the heel digs into your achilles, the higher heel drop tilts you forward, the float ride sole makes the shoes squish under heavy weight, and the lack of a tongue loop causes the tongue to slip to one side as you move. If you're a sneaker head that wants a Nano to wear casually, wait for this one to go on sale (because it will). If you do CrossFit or any other HIIT style, skip. Really disappointed.

Context: I've been doing CrossFit for 9+ years, and have owned every iteration of the Nano since 2012, sometimes multiple pairs if I liked the design.
Past Favorites: Nano 2, Nano 3, Nano 4, Nano 9
Pros: They are very comfortable, offer good arch support & a wide toe box, and the design/aesthetic is my favorite in the Nano family thus-far. These things make you want to wear the shoe all the time.
Cons: They simply don't perform. The footbed is slippery when wearing athletic socks, and the mesh upper doesn't provide much stability, making for a very unstable-feeling shoe, as if your feet are going to slide through the mesh. The increased heel drop height (old Nanos were 4mm, these are 7mm) make you feel like you're tilting forward. Lifting heavy in any capacity does not feel good in these shoes. Also the lack of a lace anchor to the tongue causes the tongue to slide to one side as you move, which also makes running/jumping/gymnastics/etc. difficult and uncomfortable.
Overall: Just a very disappointing shoe, considering it has the potential to be the best Nano yet. Small mistakes add up to a very frustrating shoe that you want to wear but can't use. I would discourage anyone from spending money on this shoe, get the Nano 9, X, or wait for the 12. X1 missed the mark for sure, on par with the Nano 5 for the worst Nano thus far. Feels like a departure from a CrossFit shoe, but I don't think it would be functional for any kind of training except walking.
Suggestions: Return to the 4mm Heel Drop. Attach the tongue with either a lace loop or a flexible fabric connection to the upper (I think the latter would make for a more stable fit). Reinforce the mesh over the toe box to prevent foot slippage.

I've had several pairs of Reeboks. This was the most expensive pair I've bought and was lowest quality of any I've had. Letters on the back began peeling off after wearing three times casually. Tried uploading a picture but it wouldn't let me. Shoes are fine otherwise but for the cost of these given that they're Reeboks, kind of ridiculous for the letters to peel off so quickly.

I love them and HATE them. WHY WHY WHY is the heal sooooooo hard it makes me bleed!! It doesn't even give and my ankles need to flex there to extend my foot. So disappointed. Laterally they are great. Just running or jogging is not doable without bloody heels!!!!!!! Wear extra thick socks or something. I feel like rebook made some improvements but the shoes are unusable without pain!!!! I already threw the dang boxes away when I bought the Les Mills and the the Black Grit versions.

First out the box, love the shoe, and glad it was heading back towards the look and feel more or the 9 as the Nano X was also a dud.
After a Easy 10min warm up on a rower I was already feeling discomfort from the Achilles.
Though it might just take some breaking in as they felt a little stiffer in the collar to any previous nano.
To add I own 32 pairs or previous nanos.
And then I found they were so unstable to squat in. Your ankles are totally unsupported. You are constantly pushed to your toes at depth. And by the end of the session I removed my shoes and socks to find I had blisters from the collar.
I have tried to use several more times only to go back to my old shoes.
Very disappointing !!!!

These look like a typical running shoe, not worthy of the Nano name. Less toe room, less of a platform for lifting. If you're looking for a shoe that does neither running or lifting well, this is the one. The flex weave allows too much movement, less ankle support. Overall they feel cheap. You're better off buying the X, a much better put together shoe. I will be returning the X1.

These fit like regular Nanos of previous generations however they've made the heel about a centimeter too tall. This digs into your heel when walking, jumping, and generally doing all the athletic moves you want to do while wearing these shoes. Would not recommend. I couldn't even wear these for a single 2hr workout and had blisters on both Achilles tendons at the 1hr mark.
