This particular Nimbus is really tight. In fact, heel drop is only 13 mm, not 14mm. So, if you are a customer who usually buys wide, watch out!

The Left shoe of this particular pair seemed to have a defect. While walking in them you could feel yourself being thrown to the outside of foot while walking/running and immediately caused me to feel knee and hip pain in my left side. These are supposed to be a neutral shoe and the definitely feel like they are now made for pronators. This is VERY disappointing. They used to be my favorite Asic running shoe.

I have worn these shoes for over 10 years. This is the first pair I've ever had that I'm unsatisfied with. I think there is some sort of defect in the pair I got ande the fabric at the bottom of the tongue on the left shoe is causing blisters. I thought it was just the normal 'breaking them in', but I've been wearing them consistently and after inspecting them, that isn't it.

Not the same feel as earlier models -- feels way too tight/stifling, toes get numb after running only 2 miles. Have been wearing Gel-Nimbus sneakers for 6 years, were always out-of-the-box comfortable. Hoping these will break in, wishing that was not necessary.

I REALLY wanted to love Nimbus - felt heavenly when I put them on, but after less than 30 minutes my feet were aching and felt fatigued. I've tried "breaking them in" and still have the same experience and hip/knee pain. I wear Cumulus and I love them, never have an issue --but there's something about Nimbus that just does not work for me.

The fit is way too small. I ordered the size I always wear and the shoe was very tight fitting and uncomfortable. The style is nice looking just doesn't fit will. Had to return it.

I bought these a few weeks ago. I always love my Asics Gel-Nimbus but the 23's are different from the previous versions. I feel like I'm walking on cardboard. The toe box is smaller and the shoes are tighter than normal making my feet sore after wearing them. I don't want to deal with the hassle of returning them so I'll look online to hopefully find a pair of the 22's. I also hope version 24 will be better than these.

These look great and the support is good. But it's the most uncomfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned. I can't wear them more than a few hours. It's terrible that those no trial period like other companies. I would not recommend these sneakers.

Arch was too high for my foot, very noticable compared to my Nimbus 21s. Felt like my foot was supinating a bit outward because of the arch. Seemed cut a bit longer than my same size 21s. Good cushioning typical for Nimbus, but have to return these because arch was uncomfortable.

Have worn the gel-nimbus for the past few years, getting a new pair about every 10 months. These are going back. Run VERY small.

I always wear a size 7.5 in ASICS. These are too narrow. They also seem cheap and the soles look they will rip easily. Already shipped back for a return.

I loved these shoes ! Super comfortable with great cushioning, but they didn’t last long before I had a hole above my big toe. And that hasn’t happened before with other sport shoes. So disappointed!

The length and width were fine, but there's not nearly enough arch support!

I have this shoe in another color and they fit perfectly. When I bought the same size in black they were at least a half size smaller and I had to return them.

I have the Nimbus 22 which I switched to from the Cumulus. I'm super disappointed in the Nimbus 23. They are totally different than the 22. The cushioning is different. Not loving them.

I've been wearing asics for years and these are not as wide as asics sneakers normally are. I don't wear a wide width shoe generally so very disappointed that these run so small. Additionally the back of the sneaker below the ankle is low which lends itself to socks slipping down.

They aren't like past models. This pair lost their comfort after 10 hours of use. I switched from Brooks because I thought ASICS could compare. Years ago I bought ASICS and never had a problem. Times, models, and quality apparently all change simultaneously.

I don't love this model's design. Under the arch feels like it's over-engineered compared to previous versions of this shoe and it makes it feel heavier, less flexible. It's really disappointing to find a shoe that works for you, that you've been wearing for years and years only to have an "update" come out that fundamentally change the shoe and its effectiveness for your individual running needs.

Not enough padding or gel in the 23 model. I order a pair or 2 every year and have absolutely loved each model until this one. I'm going to go ahead and order a pair of 24's in hopes that Asics returns to their normal comfy padding.

I used to wear Nimbus exclusively but they became too narrow and odd feeling. So, I laid off for 5 years and only bought Brooks Ghost (which I love.) I tried Nimbus with the 23 and they still disappoint. Heavy, too narrow, too short. I recommend Brooks Ghost if you want a neutral runner that never disappoints.

I bought two pairs of these. I have loved the gel nimbus 20 and 22's that I have, but these are different. They run shorter and are pretty narrow. I size up a full size so these should have plenty of room in the toe box, but my toes go all the way to the end of the shoes. The shoe laces are so short I can't tie them if I use the extra set of holes to create the loops. The last time I checked that's what those extra lace holes are for. I read reviews from other people that said the soles squeak and they totally do. I just walked across my tile and the squeaked the whole time. Both pairs I bought are getting sent back. If it's not broken don't fix it. Please stop changing a good thing.

I'm a nurse who is on my feet for 13/14 hrs a day. When I tried these on I thought they were great. I've had them for about a month now and would say they are not as comfortable as first expected.
