On the inner portion newr the toe bead the white part is wearing out on L shoes for some reason, otherwise love the shoe

Very comfortable. The heel does not break down as much is in the previous 22 model. Still wish the toebox was more reinforced like the 21 model to prevent wearing so quickly.

I wear this shoes for work. The soles grip floor so well. But the toe width is a little bit small for me. I feel slightly sore on my toe nail at the end of work.

The toe box seems narrower than past nimbus. I ordered the same size that I have for years and the tiptoes have been very sore since I started wearing them.

The gel nimbus 23 started out feeling a bit tight in the width, even though they were a wide and that's my usual size, but after wearing them a bit, they are fine.

A little tighter over the bridge of the foot vs others of the same model. I have owned 9 of the previous version of the Nimbus models. I also own 4 other pairs of the Nimbus 23. This particular shoe of this model is a bit tighter over the bridge/arch of my foot. I have to loosen the laces a bit more than I like and makes the shoe shift a bit more.

I have always loved the gel nimbus line, this would have been my 3rd shoes, but lately it is getting more difficult to find the right fit. The shoes were too tight to an uncomfortable point. Unfortunately I had to return them

the biggest complaint I have about these shoes and I have owed several pairs is that the left shoe specifically where the big toe rests in the shoe always creates a hole within 6 months of wearing the shoe.

These had everything going for them other than the size being a little too short and were just not as aesthetically pleasing as the others. Great shoe, great comfort, kinda short and not attractive.

I'm very disappointed in these shoes.
I read lots of reviews, and sought out shoes Marketed for supination - and these sounded great.
They were super cushy and comfortable right out of the box for 3 days, and then I started.to experience horrible heel pain in both feet anytime I wore them longer than an hour.
I feel like these are mis-marketed and a total was of money for true supinators / under-pronators.
I've only had these 2 months, and wish I knew about the 30 day run guarantee....they sat in my closet after three weeks since wearing them threw off my hips and low back every time.
I wore them yesterday for a few hours to give them another shot, and regret it.
Will have to wear the trusty Altra sneakers to realign my body.
Buy with caution.

Good comfortable shoe for walking like the Nimbus 22. I noticed the outsole is a lot more grippy and looks a little thinner than that of the Nimbus 22. I hope this doesn't reduce the amount of miles I can get on the Nimbus 23?

I bought these because my existing Asics (an older Gel-Nimbus model) were getting worn out (many many miles of walking). These new ones are delightful, a little more padded than the older ones. Instantly comfortable (for me.) I think they look nice too.

For the most part, I absolutely love these shoes. These are the 2nd pair I have purchased this year. They are one of the most cushioned shoes I've ever worn. The toe box is wide. I am disappointed in how quickly they seem to feel worn out. My first pair start making a squeak/clicking noise after 1/2 a day of wear. I thought it was a fluke pair but these ones seem to be doing the same thing. I don't run- I walk and I wear these for work where I am on my feet a lot so I expected a bit more longevity for these shoes for the price.

It's been about twenty years since I purchased my first pair of GEL-NIMBUS (D) and I keep returning to this shoe. Back in the day, I was running high mileage and was fitted with this shoe by running experts. I have a low arch but supinate both when I run and walk. While I do not run any more, I keep purchasing this shoe as it provides the best stability and cushioning for long daily walks with my dog.
The only negative is that the sole tends to wear out within ~3 months - specifically in the area you would expect for supination (outside area of toe box).
