These felt fine upon the first week of wearing and I like that they did not have obnoxious visual details. I have worn and preferred Asics gel for most of my past 25 years of life. After a couple weeks these are hurting terribly....absolutely unbelievable tendonitis. The dog and I usual work to 3 to 5 miles per day by this time after winter, but not in these sneakers. I am trying trimmed Dr Scholls inserts and have also ordered I higher quality brand insert that hasn't arrived yet. I'm not sure these are truly neutral shoes in terms of pronation. I have severe burning just behind the arch on the bottom of my dominant foot...not really heal pain and not really arch pain...never had that before even in sports through 45 years old. I keep hoping.

I'd never tried this type of Asics. Upon reading reviews, I thought it good to go with a half size larger, even though I am not a runner. These were awful in the respect they were super narrow through the middle and my foot took up all the way to the front of the toe box, even with a half size larger. I like a shoe that I can put my orthotics in, so this shoe is definitely not a shoe that can accommodate orthotics. I do not have a wide foot - I have a medium width foot, but these shoes were just not good. Thank goodness Zappos has free shipping coming and going!

I ordered 1/2 size up because I have wide feet and the sneakers were too long and still too tight, so not a good fit for me.

I found the shoe to be very stiff not comfortable I returned them immediately. Color was cute however, but no support or comfort in this shoe. Out of 3 shoes I tried, this was the worst fitting one. I expected some level of comfort but it really had none. Disappointing.

I love ASICS, So disappointed they were not up to what I have experienced with ASICS right out of the box. I could hardly get my foot in the shoe, very stiff heel & tight across the top of foot. Sent them back (size 8) med. also they were too short. Reordered the 8 1/2 med. same issues, not as short. Returning today!

Disappointed in these ASICS. I've been ordering the GEL-Contend series and they've been great, but they must have changed the model because now it's more narrow in the toe box than before. Such a bummer! I got the color that was the cheapest (the navy) and it's not as loud as I thought, so that was a nice surprise, but they're still getting sent back.

Felt quite small and not as durable as I was looking for. Cute tho! LOL! I exchanged for a different pair.

the shoe is way too small! we have another pair of ASICS in a size 6.5 and the 7.5 in this shoe was smaller! (much smaller). something wrong with the sizing. too bad- nice looking shoe.

Runs narrow!

What happened to the foot padding in sneakers...? Why do I "feel" the inner parts of the shoe thru the inner liner..? Asics used to be a good shoe....

OMG these run so small. Such a nice looking sneaker but no way am I ordering an 11.

They are cute but at least half size too small and NO arch support at all.

Liked the color and style, but I would need an 11DD to wear it. Far too small. Chose the Brooks that fit perfectly at 10W. Sorry

I've had these shoes for less than 3 months and they feel like I've had them for years! There is hardly any support left. I always buy asics, but this model is not good.

Love the shoe as usual but the color has a green hue which I do not like.

too narrow at the toes, too pointy in toe box. scrunch toes. Have not found any that are comfortable

I am a Brooks wearer in the past but liked the color combination that these Asics offered so thought I would give them a try. Felt really narrow and tight especially around the instep so I will be returning them.

Since wearing these sneakers a couple of times my knees have been worse than ever. I purchased relying on a name brand and reviews. Wish I could return them but they’ve been worn.

The toe box on these shoes is narrower than my previous Asics so I couldn't put an orthotic on top of the insole. I tried walking with the shoe's insole but as it caused knee problems, I had to remove it and put in an over the counter one for knee support. Unfortunately this orthotic doesn't extend to the ball of the foot and had to cut up another full orthotic to fit into the toe area. Sizing up would be too large so I'm disappointed with this shoe overall. The only positive is the gray and pink coloration is cute.

I gave them a shot, but was disappointed. These shoes are marketed as wide, but they are NOT wide. I’m returning them and will again have to look for mens sneakers that are not ghastly to look at. As a woman who does not have dainty little feet, the struggle is real.
