Trying them out inside the house to see if they loosen up slightly

I love Asics for walking shoes. These felt just a bit smaller/tighter than the same size shoes I ordered months ago. The difference might be these are GEL-Contend7, and my old pair are GEL-Venture 7?

I always wear 7.5 in asics and these were too short!

I normally wear a size 8 or 8 1/2, but in ASICS I always get a size 9. This shoe fit all around except for the length, which is why I always order one size up in ASICS. My toes were right at the top so sadly they had to go back.

I love this style

I was surprised I needed a full-size larger than I typically wear. I originally ordered a .5 size larger based on reviews but my toes were still crunchy at the tips. The shoes themselves are lightweight, the rose quartz combo is pretty and the footbed felt comfortable, I'm looking forward to getting the larger size and hitting the road with them.

I wish I had ordered a 7 1/2 instead of the 8.

I've been looking for a sneaker that wasn't too bouncy and had no arch support and I think these work. The arch on my left foot can't tolerate anything pushing on it and these are comfy and flat inside.

I consistently wear a size 11 in New Balance and Nike. Size 11 in this shoe was a half size too small. No way I could make it work. Returned for 11.5. Haven't gotten them yet, but based on how the size 11 felt (except for being too small), I expect they will be very comfortable and supportive!

The fit and support of these shoes is great. The only complaint I have is the material the shoe is lined with “grabs” your socks as you put the shoes on making it difficult to put on. I have to loosen the laces very wide to put the shoes on.

The shoe is light and the soul has great cushion. It is narrower than I am used to. The biggest issue I have is because it is narrower, you need to loosen the shoelaces quite a bit. When you do this, you barely have enough lace to tie your shoes, and I have small feet. I considered buying new laces, but first why should I have to with brand new shoes, and second it would be hard to match the gray on the shoes.

I’ve been a fan of asics gel contend for many years. Have several pairs of 4s that I love, but after that the shoe got narrower. This time I got an 11 and even though I wore them in the house for several hours by the time I finished my 5 mile walk they felt tight. I just ordered an 11.5 and those are perfect!

Only negative is the black sole

If you have wide feet I would suggest purchasing a model that comes in wide.

I love theses shoes. They give support but don’t look too clunky. The gray and pink is a pretty good color.
