These shoes are comfortable right out of the box and offer great support, especially for this novice runner. I ordered a half size up and they were perfect.

I ordered a half-size larger and am glad I did. The shoes are attractive and comfortable, and the price was excellent as well.

The material is very soft and pliable while offering good support. The gel support is so comfortable that I can wear them all day long. Even after a gym workout and walking my dogs a couple of miles/day, the fit is like a comfortable glove on my feet. I usually wear a size 8 shoe and in a tennis shoe I go up a half a size to an 8.5 to allow for a sock. The 8.5 fits very comfortably with a workout sock, even after wearing throughout the day. I also have a small bunion on one foot and the stretchy material allows for extra width so the foot is not squeezed. I have a high arch and these provide great support. I love these shoes and have ordered them in different colors.

I really like these shoes. They are really comfortable and light weight. I like the fit of the shoe but I considered returning them for a half size larger. In the end I kept what i ordered.

I love these sneakers. They are lightweight with lots of support. They fit right every time and do not need to be broken in.

I workout with these shoes at least 5 times a week. Lift weights and light running.

They are a teensy bit smaller than my last pair but fit is good—pretty snug.

They feel good for all day run around, work, track (walking). Stable with good padding around ankle. They appear built to last. Plenty of toe room. Super cute. I am often between M and W so ordered W. They look good! Not good for a W, really good! Two complements in two days. I ordered grey with pink laces because they are cute, but they have me thinking ... The price is less than half what I paid for the Brooks Glycerin M, which are also excellent and I love mine. These Asics are definitely worth a try.

Asics were recommended by my podiatrist, and the Wide width does fit my feet even with bunions. This is the most supportive, breathable, and comfortable athletic shoe I've ever worn. It's better for me than New Balance and less expensive as well. Also way more stylish.

I also got the exact shoe about 2 weeks ago & loved them , so thought I’d back up with another pair , but different color stripe. Well, the fit was much smaller. Same style & size… good thing I tried them on before waiting until they were needed! Returning.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable. I have chronic lower back pain and I am on my feet 8 hours a day. These shoes actually make my back feel better.

Bought these to replace my worn out ASICS Gel-Excite 7's. Fits and looks exactly the same. Perfect. Weirdly, the Gel-Excite 8's were a completely different shoe from the 7. Those didn't work for me at all.

Great shoes! Comfortable from day one.

The Gel Contend 7 fits true to size and is similar to the previous GEL Contends I've had in the past. Perfect fit and support for me! My only problem with the ASICS Gel Contends in the past have been that they wear out way too soon. They used to last a good six to eight months and now it's more like three to four. I'm not heavy on them but do walk about the neighborhood about an hour a day. Love them anyway as the comfort and support is perfect...so much so that I just ordered a second pair as a backup!

The champaign color is really bright gold

This shoe has a wide toe box which was very comfortable. Seemed to run slightly larger.

This shoe is great, especially in wide! The gel cushion is comfortable for the price. Lots of room in the toe box. The heel is a little narrow, but overall a great basic shoe. I use these shoes for bicycling and casual walking.

I have been searching for the right sneaker for my hard to fit feet.. Then left was a little snug so I am exchanging for a half size larger.

The fit is great. But we've tried two different pairs of these, and the tread on both has been poor quality -- on the first pair, pieces had already peeled off from the sole when we took them out of the box. On the second, it started peeling off within a few weeks.
