I bought the Launch GTS because it was marketed as the new Ravenna. I've worn the Ravenna for seven years in several iterations and I love that shoe. The Launch GTS is not the same and is nowhere near as good. First of all, the feel of the Launch GTS under heel is squishy, like marshmallows. I don't know why. I was shocked by that. I was not expecting my heel to actually feel like it was sinking down into the heel cup whenever I took a step (it was not an issue of the shoe not being the correct size - it's definitely an issue of the insole itself). The heel tab was also way too dramatic and high. I have a feeling it would irritate my Achilles tendon if I actually ran in these. I even put a Ravenna on one foot and the Launch GTS on the other to compare them and see how different they actually are. The Ravenna was light, supportive, but unobtrusive, and felt really good. The Launch GTS was squishy, heavier, didn't support my foot as well as the Ravenna (because of that squishiness), and just didn't feel good. I am shocked that these two shoes would be marketed as comparable to each other because they are nothing alike. I am really disappointed and will be returning the Launch GTS. I am still searching for another shoe, and may have to go to a different shoe brand, because the Ravennas will eventually wear out and I don't think Brooks makes anything as good as that anymore if Launch GTS is as close as their marketing department thinks they have.

Eh....Certainly, these look lovely, but seriously, once on your feet, you know that these are NOT like the old Ravenna's, my all-time favorite for years and years. These run bigger, wider, and the back, OMG, is high, scalloped, and annoying. These were returned and I will now scour the web for a discontinued pair of Ravennas or, perhaps, move to something else. Note to Brooks: Bring the Ravennas BACK. PLEASE.

I needed a shoe with more stability than this had. I returned it the day it was delivered.

Nothing like the Ravenna shoes. Returned them and have found shoes that work perfectly from a different brand.

Sole is too low for my preference. My legs hurt when I wear, can't wear them for too long, max. 4 hours.

when I first got the sneaker I felt like they were amazing and even had a co-worker get the same ones. Now that I've been wearing them about a month they aren't comfortable anymore and feel as though they have lost their support already. Kind of disappointed as I planned to initially replace all my sneakers with Brooks, as well as my husbands

I really loved these shoes when I first got them about a month ago. I wore them to the grand canyon and for hiking in Sedona. Got home and started wearing them to work when a small hole started coming through on the front of both of the sneakers. I'm Highly disappointed in the quality of the shoe, especially because they are so comfortable. I would recommend them only for light use

They do not fit anything like the Ravenna did. I returned them and will purchase the 9 version which is very similar to the Ravenna.

Did not like this fit. Did not feel much support and they tend to open wide at the ankle with every step. I use shoes for support because of overpronation. These do not feel supportive at all.

Had these shoes one week, ran 3 Times in them and they are tearing. This is why I stopped buying Brooks and went to Saucony.

Despite being advertised as the 'new' Ravenna, the Launch GTS shoes do not fit the same. I have worn Ravenna for 4 years and loved them from day one. I wore the Launch GTS one time and from the time I put them on for the next 8 hours, my feet have never hurt as bad. It was so disappointing. I am returning the pair I recently purchased.

Wore them 3x and my feet felt like they were burning. Like some kind of synthetic something. Felt heavier than past shoes and didn?t like the support. Love Brooks guarantee! Thanks for making sure we are comfortable with the shoes!

Description states that this is the new Ravenna. That could not be farther from the truth. This shoe has way too much cushion- you cannot feel the pavement and it would not be safe to run in. I imagine if you work on your feet, this would be comfortable, but the cushion prevents any agility and road feel. I am so disappointed. I ran multiple half marathons in Ravenna's and this Launch is just not comparable at all!

Horrible shoe!! Feels cheap and hard as a rock. I loved the one made before. I wish I could remember the one. I think they were 2019?

These are nothing like the Ravenna?s. I have worn Ravenna?s for years, never had issues. Were forced to switch to these shoes and within an a week I was having intense pain in my heel. Soon afterwards after continued pain I went and got X-rays and needed up having a heel spur. Not impressed at all by the launch?s models and have caused me nothing but issues!! Back to square one!!!
