I had to order a half size down from what I usually wear in Brooks. Really like the shoe.

I think GTS shoes are good for short runs, alternating with my Launch for longer ones.

I got this as a replacement for the now discontinued Asteria1. It's lightweight but offers a lot of support.

I?m a long-time Brooks fan; great company, great shoes. Brooks hit an absolute home run with the Ravenna 9. Long-term Ravenna fans might be disappointed with this shoe (which replaces the Ravenna line). The heel counter is annoying and doesn?t allow for a firm, locked-in fit and the forefoot is too roomy. Many Brooks shoes have the comfortable, snug fit whereas, with this shoe, your foot may slide a bit inside the shoe. It?s a well-cushioned shoe and might be fine for walking around or for shorter runs, but better choices are out there for serious runners logging higher mileage runs.

This is my first pair of Brooks, and I can say they feel very comfortable. I have not yet ran in them because I am still dealing with plantar fasciitis from overusing another brand of sneaker. Brooks was recommended to me by my wife. Hopefully, I can run in them soon!

Gift for my husband. He cannot stop talking about how perfect these shoes are...just the right give in the toe, arch support and heel cushion is the best.

Pro: They're super comfortable, light and helped me shave some time from my average. Perfect for the quick 1-3 mile daily run. Cons: Longer distance of 5-9 miles, my feet were more sore when compared to wearing a beast 20. Also tried to use for road to trail. The light cushioning didn't fare well comfort/feel wise with loose gravel and unpaved roads. Good shoes if you need an alternate running pair to a beast 20.

So far, so good. It is a lighter shoe than the Ravenna, I believe, and fits well. I am hopeful it holds up to the mileage I hope to run in my new favorite Brooks shoe.

Have been looking for a cushioned -stability shoe since you discontinued the Infinity which was perfect. Having been stung on several mushy soles claiming to be stability, I discovered the Ravenna 10 which was a good combination of both. With it going the route of the Infinity I was steered toward the Launch GTS 8. What at first felt like another mushy sole, soon felt like springy energy return and then a nice feel for the road. Best I have felt in a shoe in quite some time. I could see these being used on race day or knock arounds. Will definitely get another pair to rotate. There is still a need for running stability despite the trend to mushy soles and most styles being neutral. My Brooks buying goes back to the days of the Chariot with the diagonal roll bar. I still miss the Radius and Burn !!

great shoe quality for the price, it can go super fast, it can go fast, it can go slow, it can go super slow. The guardrails are no joke, the extra stability piece in the midsole is fantastic, too good actually.
