These have become my go-to shoes for faster runs, workouts, and 5Ks. Nice and light, a roomy toebox, and just enough support. I just feel fast in these, even on days where I'm taking it easier. They're not ideal for longer, slower runs as you can feel the pavement a bit more but they are perfect for anything moderate to fast-paced. They're also just super comfortable for casual wear. I've purchased three pairs of these and it's quickly become my favorite shoe. I hope they don't change this shoe much for the next version as they're pretty perfect as is.

Very disappointed with those shoes, especially since I really wanted to like them given the fact Brooks claimed that they are similar to the Ravenna - not so.... To me at least, they felt like a "walking shoe" with a lot of deep support and no springiness... Laces feel very cheap... Overall very disappointed and also a bit surprised at all the other glowing reviews of these shoes...

Slippery in wet roads. Otherwise good

Was unable to wear. Didn't fit like the glycerin or the ghost 13 shoes I have. They were larger and slipped off my heals. Going to try a size smaller as per one of your technical people.

Love the color. Shoes are lite weight, good cushioning, size is true, good support.

Wearing these shoes, it felt like I was running on a cloud of butter. They give my feet the best hugs. I can run faster, jump higher, and they look amazing. I would marry these shoes if it were legal.

Love my Brooks sneaks. Most comfortable sneaker I?ve ever had. I really like the wild colors and themes. I?ve gotten the tie died, the red tomatoes, the bananas and obviously the St Patty?s Day theme. Waiting for the next vibrant color so I can get another pair!!

Best launch so far! I run in the GTS 21 for long runs and was looking for a light alternative for shorter runs. It turns our these fit the bill for both. Nice cushioning with just enough support. Plenty of room in the toe box with good lock down. Will be ordering a second pair!

I only giving these a 4 right now because I have only run on them inside a few miles, but so far so good. They have a tilt to them that the other Brooks did not have and it feels very strange when I start out, but after a short time it feels pretty good. I have put Superfeet insoles in them as I have VERY flat feet and they are doing well.

Oddly, I can feel noticeable heel slip when walking but not when running. I am currently rehabbing a knee injury so I am limited to 3 miles per run at a very easy pace (11 minutes per mile) and this shoe is quite comfortable. The shoe seems to perform well at this level but I am skeptical of how it will work at normal 13.1 speed and distance. The light weight reminds me of the original Pure Flow (the first year when it was awesome). It is also one of the few Brooks shoes I could get in the color I wanted. Brooks goes out of their way to make sure only "D" width feet get a variety of colors/designs to choose from. Try getting a color other than white, black, or grey when you select 11.5 2E in a Ghost. It goes from 17 available colors/designs to the 3 I mentioned. I went off on a tangent here because Brooks refuses to respond when I use the their recommended avenue to address the lack of variety in other widths. Anyway, for the money and short runs, the Launch GTS 8 definitely gets it done.
