I used to wear brooks shoes strictly for work, but over the last couple of years I have accumulated work, fun, exercise, and just around the house kickers. These were the first ones that actually hurt the heal of my foot. I wore them only a couple hours for a break in and everything seemed ok. When I wore them at work I noticed discomfort so I took them out of my shoe rotation. After a couple of weeks, I tried them again and same result and only in the left shoe. Its sad because I love the design of the shoe, it just kills my foot to wear them.

The Launch 8 shoe is perfect for me. It is my favorite. Unfortunately, I have to buy the men's shoe as I always like to purchase the wide width in women's but can no longer find it in my size (9W). But, the shoe itself fits me perfectly and is very comfortable.

The Launch is a fast lightweight shoe. Very comfortable, great fit. My go to shoes are the Ghost and Glycerin, which offer a bit more support and slightly more weight.

Not as fast as the tempo, not as cushioned as the ghost or glycerin, but great all around daily trainer for the price.

So far they?re holding up well, I previously wore Brooks beast for 11 years. They?re well cushioned in the heel and are holding up just fine.

Bought as an everyday shoe. It excels at being that. Comfortable for all day wear.

I have been wearing the ghost for the last 10 years I absolutely love these!!!

Nice & light nimble trainer. Soft steps without too much padding that lets you feel the road like your dancing on water.

For starters, I love the color (bright yellow/green). My only complaint might be that they feel a little lightweight (not flimsy, really) compared to other shoes I've had from Brooks. They are a less expensive shoe, though and I don't intend to run in them-they are just a walking-around-in shoe. I anticipate that they'll be fine for my limited sports needs.

I have always purchased Nike, but due to their policies I have felt the need to no longer support them. I have really enjoyed the comfort, support and style of these Brooks shoes. In fact I am taking a young man from the gym to Playmakers for each of us to buy a pair of Brooks.

Best shoes I?ve ever had. Ive had the tie dye, neon yellow and black and turquoise in the launch 8. I adore these shoes. I?m work for an ophthalmologist and am on my feet a lot of the day. I also run and have had pain running in other shoes. These have been a lifesaver.

Not much cushioning, but light and fast. I usually wear an 11 1/2, but the 11 fits like a glove so I would say that the shoe runs a little larger than indicated size. The reason is probably that the toe box is not narrow.

These would be perfect if the soles were a little thinner/lighter (less mass). I really like the shoes and would buy them again. I was surprised at how effective the ventilation is in hot weather.

Great shoe to keep you running fast splits.

Comfort and support is excellent! My only issue with the shoes that I purchased is that the soles wear out quickly. The tread burns off after about 45-60 days (and that's only running/walking 3-4 times a week at around 3 miles per).

The most comfortable running shoe I've found, it actually has toe room! The cushioning is perfect and the fit is accurate.

These shoes were so instantly comfortable, so light and flexible that I not only increased my time but distance right off the bat. It?s been three months running 3x a week (30+ miles) and they are holding up great. This review request was actually sent to me for the 2nd pair I bought to put aside until I wear out my other ones!

Brooks Launch are my favorite running shoes. They are very roomy in the front of your foot with lots of support.

Good trainer. Used on several 5K runs. Fit is good. Cushioning is comfortable but doesn't feel mushy.
