Tried these as a less expensive alternative to the Ghost shoe and it didn't last as long or fit as well. I went back to the Ghost.

It is good with my meeting with the ground. It attracts many compliments from the public.

So far so good. The neon green helps keep me visible during the pre-dawn morning runs. Fits as expect and just the right amount of cushion. Not sure my speed improved but wasn't expecting magic.

I love the Launch 8. It reminds me of previous Brooks shoes; a wonderful, fast lightweight running shoe which I used for qualifying and running Boston.

Lovin? the Launch. I usually wear Anthems, but tried the Launch and really like the feel running.

I have had several models of the Launch and it's one of my favorites. They are light and comfortable to run in. I am a teacher that moves around the building a lot. I wear the Launch everyday and my feet thank me at the end of the day.

I love these running shoes. I had the launch 6 prior and tried to see if new balances would be better after the 6s wore out... the new balances were okay but putting on these launch 8... wow what a difference and feel. I will definitely not stray away from these for running again. Very comfortable and feel great.

I've been running in the Launch since its second version. Some versions fit me better than others--the 8 is one of the better fitting versions. It's more cushioned than previous versions and the ride is with quick transitions from heel strike to toe-off. It's my new go to Asa daily trainer and it would be fine for a 5 or 10k event as well. The heel isn't too snug, as I found with the 7.

These shoes are great, the color is nice, and the shoe is very light. These shoes will keep up with any other fancy brand when it comes to style and comfort. However, the shoes will only be good up to a half marathon. If you are planning to run your first marathon, go higher price to get better cushion on the sole. Other than that, I highly recommend Brooks.

I've run in all the Launches and this is my favorite. Even went back from the 9 to the 8 because it's superior.

I use these for walking and the gym and think I like this one better than my other Brooks. Very comfortable!

I'm not a runner but got my first pair 4 months ago for walking miles on a trip. They are extremely comfortable from the moment I put them on! Its like you are walking on clouds! Everything about them is perfect for me. There is no "breakin" period like there is with leather athletic shoes. I liked them so much I just ordered and received my 2nd pair as the Launch 8 is being phased out and replaced by the Launch 9. Wanted a backup pair to store for when my original ones wear out.

The two shoes have very different feel in the heels. One fits strangely on the heel and gives the feeling like the shoe could slip off.

I burn through shoes pretty quick and I've been looking for a new shoe for my rotation. The Launch 8 was a great addition. It's toe box is nice and roomy and the fit of the shoe is excellent. The fit for me was right on. It's nice and light for my workout runs all while giving a nice amount of cushion. The shoe is responsive and nimble, doesn't feel clunky at all. Overall the shoe feels great after putting 30 miles on it. I'm happy with the purchase and will most likely buy a couple of more pairs.

I would like to have more support in the sole of the shoe. It is comfortable but after walking for an hour, sometimes my feet begin to hurt a little.

Bought 2 pairs since I liked the 7s, one for racing and 1 for training. They have a smooth transition from heel strike to fore foot, provide solid ankle support and cushion for road racing.

The fit for me is still good and I like the soft, padded, flexible upper so that it conforms to my feet, which the Launch9 does not have when I tried them. My negative is that I think the cushioning has diminished from other Brooks and other Launch shoes I've owned. After a few weeks, the soles of my feet are sore like I get with new/worn-out shoes. At least the price at this point make them worthwhile.

I love the color and they have great arch support. I don't remember the last pair of shoes that I could feel the arch support while sitting down. It was a great feeling the first time I ventured out for my daily walk.

Looks good. Feels okay. But been with this model for several years and this pair does not offer the arch support the earlier shoe provided. Disappointed.
