HAd to order 1 full size larger but the most comfortable running shoe I’ve ever owned. Surprisingly light considering the amount of support!

These shoes are great. I had not purchased a pair of Brooks in some time but wanted to give them a shot as I have had some recent issues w/ plantar fasciitis. After a week of running with these my body feels much better.

This shoe is the perfect balance of surprising lightness and structure, plus just the right amount of stability while remining neutral... don't know how they did it, but it's wonderful. The big surprise is the shoe's durability. While other brands seem to be running away from durability, Brooks Running is doubling down on it. I get that shoes should be retired from active running early and often, but that doesn't mean they can't have an afterlife as a great everyday shoe. For most brands other than Brooks, the increasing lack of durability has become a cynical attempt to drive profits under the smokescreen of high performance shoe turnover. Yea Brooks!

Im so happy with the fit and comfort of these shoes. They?re so plush and soft that the metatarsalgia in my right foot went away about 90%, and I improved a few of my PRs by a good amount. Can't say enough about them.

Very comfortable! I am in my 60?s and need a shoe that is comfortable but also very supportive. The glycerin does both.

This is my first Brooks shoe, I usually wear Asics because of the comfort, I haven?t been wearing my glycerin 19 that long but so far it is on par with ASIC.

I normally wear a true size 12 D. These are size 14 and fit fine size and width.
I have been ordering 2 sizes over my true size from Zappos on all shoes in past
3 years in order to get proper fit. Seems all sizes run 2 size smaller that true size.
I order 14 even though I am a 12 and the shoes fit. If I order 12 they are too small.

I bought these for my husband, who is very difficult to buy shoes for. He has a pair of Glycerin 18s which he likes do I bought the newer version. They fit him perfectly and he says they are really comfortable right out of the box!

great cushioning exceeds 18 upper good breathing and more attractive somewhat confusing when it was first released with side stabilization which for most neutral runners is counter productive but was removed from this model

Over the years I have gone between Brooks and Asics. When you’re looking at spending 150 or so you want to make sure that everything fits. So... The fit is perfect, size is accurate, and comfort is out of this world. I know that everyone is moving towards bright and flashy colors (which I personally don’t like for an everyday shoe) so I chose the gray color with a subdued logo. Perfect. When you slip the new Glycerine on for the first time the plush comfort just makes you feel like running, or walking the dog, or any excuse that gets you outside. I like them that much.
I'd also recommend:

These were pretty good -- seemed just a little bit smaller than the Glycerin 18. I'm a 73-year old runner and have to take care of my feet. Running is one thing that keeps my energy level up. I buy the Glycerin line for their cushioning.

Nice shoe. Not as nice as the Glycerin 17 it replaced. The 17 was a more plush ride and had a more plush and higher quality upper. The 19 is fine. It?s just a step back.

Always wear Brooks. I need the wider shoe. Very comfortable on all terrain. Put 5.2 million steps on last pair in a year?s time.

Very cushiony shoes. I have been using them for some of my long slow runs and for recovery days. If you have sore feet or tend to have foot pain with long runs, these have a ton of cushion to help minimize that pain. I was surprised how much energy my legs had at the end of a recent long run, and was still able to pick up the pace for last couple of miles. Usually I don't expect that from a heavier/more cushioned shoe. My point being - they still have pretty good energy return for having such a plush feel.
