My first light trail only shoe. Definitely on the moderate cushioning side. I had to return it sooner than expected. The collar was pinching my Achilles tendon area and irritating the skin in that area as well.

I?ve been in brooks for about 10 years and loved the pure grit series. My last pair finally gasped their last breath so I ordered these. Im really disappointed. They are heavy and sloppy with a huge footprint (at least a size larger than my pure grits). Don?t order online. I recommend trying them on in the store to see if they?re worth your time.

Looks like more cushioning than there actually is. Pretty stiff shoe. The tread was great for trails.

Satisfued, but not overly impressed. Wish i spent more for higher quality of Brooks. Sole is stiff and the shoes are a bit heavy. They also are not proper for people like me who are slightly duck footed. Likely perfect if you are pigeon toed. I do not recommend for pavement running, but they are pretty good for trail running. Overall, I do not recommend them at all for running on pavement, but I do recommend them as a good affordable option for trailrunning.

Doesn?t provide the arch support or stability that I expected, based on preferences I provided during shopping experience.

I would pay for the catamount next time, I really wanted a hybrid shoe

I found them to be too tight. I fluctuate between size 9.5 and 10. I believe size 10 would have been a better choice. I will return them asap. Thanks Howard

So disappointed in these shoes! I have had many, many pairs of Brooks over the years, and most recently I wore my beloved PureGrit 3 far past when they should have been replaced. I have always worn a 9.5 but this shoe is just.. off. My foot slides all around, the laces create painful pressure points on my instep, and the heel padding is excessive and too low. I just wanted the usual Brooks feel, and these weren't it. Sadly I've worn them too much to return them.

i give them to my son-in-law they hurt my feet.

Runs very small. Had to returned them.
