This was a gift. I cannot speak for him right now as he has not worn them enough to say.

Still wrapped as these are a Christmas present. I did try them on before wrapping and they fit fine. Colors of shoe were not as cool in person as they were on computer. They will work for walking.

I love Nimbus Gels but the 23 is too narrow at the toe. They still feel great for walking and I couldn't beat the price. I got them on the Black Friday sale!

I will stick with Nimbus until my running days are over; however, I keep hoping the look and design of them would improve each season. Take a page from Nike. Their shoes look fantastic. Functionally , Nimbus wins hands down but good gracious, please make them look as good as they feel!!

These shoes are very comfortable for my 12 hour hospital shifts. As a healthcare provider I have been looking for a cushy shoe for all day comfort and these fit the bill. I am still in the break in period so I can't speak to the wear longevity. The look is nice, but the camo pattern is not my favorite...therefore a 4 of 5 star rating.

Always a great fit and no break in needed. Sure, I will continue buying in the future

Comfortable shoe with lots of cushioning all around. Not thrilled with the pattern on the top of the shoe. Looks like a military camouflage design which I don't like. Otherwise, I like the shoe for working out in.

Slightly tight fit even in the wide size, still a good fit though. I wear it as an every day shoe and my feet and knees are thankful for it.

Fit true to size, very comfortable. Excellent cushioning for long training runs.

I come from the ASICS Cumulus. The Nimbus are definitely softer on the feet. However, these Nimbus 23 run large. I've never had an issue with the sizing on Asics shoes until now. I'm an 8.5 mens and these are more like a 9. It was too late for me to return them so I'm running on a pair of shoes that fit big.

I like it for speed work & had a good long run (21 mi) with them as well. Seem to wear well.

The GEL-NIMBUS 23s look great, but these don't have enough structured support for my flat arches.

They are ok... I have never been a Nimbus runner. I have used Kayanos since v.21 but as I have progressed as a runner, I wanted to try a neutral shoe. I assumed that the Nimbus would basically be a Kayano without the extra support but these seems to have a lot more going on in the upper - the tongue is sooooo thick and cushioned, the heel is soooooo padded. While the shoe seems to "fit", it does feel snug all around. I am glad I did not have them in the summer, I would have been sweating even more than normal. Even the laces seem like they are puffy and cushioned - might need to swap for my old Kayano laces. Other than that, the shoe is comfortable, it provides good support in the upper and I have found the neutral ride to be just fine. I have been wearing them on 7-9 mile runs each weekend for about a month and a few shorter pacier (I know that's not a word) runs mid-week. No issues to bring up.

Great for walking and support my spine, back and feet. I walk 12 hours + a day.

The shoes themselves are holding up well, but one of the insoles has already started falling apart with less than 50 miles of use. I also have slightly wide feet, so I definitely recommend getting a wider size if it's that's the case for you. Much better fit, and very comfortable.

Have long been a fan of the Nimbus line (18s were my favorite) and these are nice... very plush and softer than any Nimbus I've had before... they are not quite as wide or roomy as some of the past Nimbus, I wear a 4E, but they're okay if I wear a thin sock... comfortable either way. I am an under pronation person so Nimbus (and Cumulus) are my goto options from Asics... would recommend.

I've been wearing this model running shoe for many many years It's still great however, I do not like the elastics they added to the tongue as it creates too much tightness for me

The sneakers are soft, however, I found it tight on the toes.

I am incredibly happy with my GEL-NIMBUS 23. They are not heavy but I would love them to be a bit lighter. They have a great grip on the back and side of my feet and feel very comfortable

This gel nimbus 2e is a very comfortable and attractive shoe. The most negative thing i can say is thst perhaps its too cushy. Great when on hard surface but when walking on soft turf it feels numb. The only other thing is that is not a real economically priced shoe.

I bought these shoes specifically to try a slightly wider shoe. I enjoy the Gel Nimbus, but it always just feels a little too tight. I measure my foot and it appears to be about 1/8" wider than recommended for the standard shoe. I purchased these shoes to see if the slight increase was noticeable. It was like night and day. Now I own a comfortable shoe that I do not like the looks of, but it helped solve the width issue. The downsize, ASIC really doesn't support wider feet. Yes they have a few, but they are very limited within their line. How about just making your shoes a smig wider and have everyone just pull their laces a little tighter? Otherwise, the shoes are comfortable, balanced and feel more solid and cushioned than the previous version.

I like the new Nimbus 23. I will be interested in how well the last as the prior 2 pair I have purchased wear excessively and breakthrough in the area of the small toe on both left and right?

They are very comfortable and nice. I use them for work, I walk around 10,000 steps a day, my shift is 10 hours 5 days a week. I noticed the sole was unsticking on some places, I contacted ASIC and they sent me a new pair that looks fine so far.

So far, a great shoe. The most comfortable running shoe I've worn to date. Stable with plenty of cushion. As mentioned in other reviews, the shoes have less air flow which make them warmer than my other (less expensive) Ascis (hence the 4 vs. 5 stars) but they fit like a soft glove with plenty of support. All-in-all an excellent running shoe.
