I am generally pleased with this shoe. However, unlike other Gel Walkers I've worn, this pair does not have the gel insole I'm accustomed to. I have a calloused area on one foot (due to a chipped bone, the result of some childhood injury). In the past Asics have provided superb cushioning, allowing me to stand at work for hours with no pain. Not so with this pair.

I have a few ASICS sneakers to which I find the Nimbus gel to be one the most comfortable shoes. I do a lot of walking on nimbus gels, they were getting worn out so I decided to replace them a walking shoe. I can't give the same about these walking shoes as my nimbus gel. I find them to run smaller than other ASICS shoes, also the soles are much stiffer than the gels.

I did not return these as I thru away the box. But these are on the small of a size 10 , they feel like a 9 or 9 1/2 save your box so you can return them if needed. thanks Gary

The shoe was comfortable enough, but after 2 months a hole formed in the top of the shoe near the two. Come to find out, the leather on the top of the shoe is paper thin. I love asics shoes, but the last few pairs have been shoddy, while quality has gone down, price has gone up.

The first thing I will say is that these shoes cost me 40 bucks so I shouldn't expect a whole lot from 40 dollar shoes. But. I walk my dog a mile every morning and afternoon with these shoes and also run 18 miles a week with a different pair of ASICS. Ever since I got these, my right knee has been bad. Like really bad. Walking is painful. Running is agony until the pain goes away. Went to the doctor and was told I have arthritis in my right knee. Only started after wearing these shoes. I started narrowing down the issues and decided to stop wearing these shoes for a week on these dog walks. No pain. All gone. I feel 100% again. My running times are back to normal and my pain is gone. So just be aware before buying these shoes that they can cause issues.

In terms of size and width, these are not like Hokas or Propets for comparable sizes. Difficult to get feet in and pinch along the width. the inner soles are not really removable and replacable. There is a rubber cement like substance along the bottom. I've owned 30 pairs off Asics and non are like this.

My feet ache after wearing these shoes for more than 6 hours. A quick walk on the nature trail is ok but definetly not an all day shoe. Hoping these could be a work shoe, they are not.

I bought them on as I wanted something with some cushioning since I hurt my ankle. The problem is the left shoe feels significantly smaller then the right. Just sitting on the train my left foot is in pain. Not sure if mine were just defective but based on this I could not recommend.

I ordered an 8, like a previous time, and the shoe I got said 8 on it but felt huge! I compared the international sizes printed on the shoe, and they all were bigger! So it wasn't an 8.

These shoes felt like they were made of wood, very stiff. Maybe that is good for some people, I didn’t like them. The synthetic leather was also not very well done, it might be durable, but there is no mistaking it for the real thing. I had to return them.

Do not last long, I've had that experience with several models. Sole separation, fabric developed holes. I purchased over five pairs using all the shoes they collectively didn't last a year.

Shoe is narrower than past versions. I've owned this shoe in a wide width for several years. I bought exactly the same shoe, but it is narrower across the toe box. No longer a comfortable fit

I could barely get my foot in. Way too short and way too narrow. I have no idea what kind of support is inside

The box of the shoe is so closed in that I couldn't even get my foot into the shoe. I have worn ASICS in the past, but guess they have abandoned their ability to provide wide shoes that are easy to get one's foot into.

I ordered the shoes in 4E which was supposed to be the widest available. They were not even close to being wide at all. Very tight fit. Not good if you have wide feet.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance - 4E is truly 4E and they are comfortable.
