The shoes are very comfortable

I got these for my son. He said they are fine but a little snug on the sides.

I'm returning it. 'nuf said.

These are nice shoes they just didn't work for my feet. I have a very high arch.

The Asic Gel-Contend Walker 2 are a good pair of everyday use sneakers. I happen to like the Rebok Work N Cushion 4 a little better, but they are very similar. Rebok's are good deal and for less money also. I would say try both the Asic and the Rebok and see what one you like better and just return the other pair.

They fit well, but because they are leather, they seem to need a break in period.

I've been wearing NB M574s for 10 years as my daily walker. NB changed the design and, apparently, not for the better. Given that, I decided to try something new. I've been wearing the ASICS Gel Walker 2 for about 2 weeks now. Some conclusions. These shoes are not designed for a high instep like mine. I have to lace them almost to the edge of the tongue. I usually wear a EE shoe but these are available only in D and 4E. I assumed the 4E would be too wide so I went for the D. That was an error. I have mostly ample toe room but the heel is very tight. They are stretching out, but still a bit uncomfortable. When sitting or driving I'm never unaware of the fact I have shoes on. It improves while walking. I do like the insoles and the cushioning these shoes have, although at times my toes almost feel as if they are moving on mud. There is a squishiness in the toe box that is slightly disconcerting. It will be interesting to see how these shoes wear after a month or two of use. I may change my mind after these are fully broken in but I doubt I'll be purchasing them again.

needed black shoes for work. have to wear sneakers with neutral to supination support for knees. these are inconspicuous and can replace regular leather shoes

The contend were not like 5L version,,,less quality re leather etc

I have had Acis Gel-Contend Walker before. However, They were model 5, not the 2. Model 5 was not available this time. I tried the model 2 feeling that had a good idea of what to expect. I was wrong. I think that the Acis Gel-Contend Walker 2 is a better shoe than model 5. What luck? Time will tell how good they are. I like Zappos because they ship promptly and their return policy is great. If I need shoes, I always check Zappos first for availability before looking elsewhere. I always recommend Zappos to anyone wanting great shoes at a reasonable price.

this is my second pair have not worn them yet but i expect them to be as good as the first pair

Good comfortable shoe good for all day.

Ordered my usual 9 1/2 regular fit, it was just too narrow. Also, not too crazy about the synthetic uppers material. Just was not a comfortable shoe for me, had to return them.

No fault of Zappo's, but these shoes were just to small and a bit on the narrow side. Ordered a 91/2 which I already own (pair of Asics). Will return.

Very comfortable and attractive walking shoes. My one caveat is that it is somewhat difficult to get the shoe on the right foot, whereas there is no problem with the left foot. But once they are on, they are both comfortable.

Heel seem right for me

Sturdy shoe for walking. A bit stiff as a new shoe but overall fit for an 8 medium was true.

The length was ok but the width and height are very SMALL. I loosened the laces WAY out and they're not unwearable. The soles are very comfortable and I hope as the shoes stretch and break in, they won't be so tight.

Seems a bit small and cheap looking for a $60 comfort shoe. It took me 5 minutes of stretching and loosening to get my foot in and it was a very snug fit for a 4-E. I will not comment on comfort until I go for a one mile walk.
