These are the same size as the last three pairs of Asics I owned, but I couldn't even get my feet into them. I guess they're extra wide, so they're extra short? I could not get my toes all the way in and cannot wear them.

I have dedicated my stride to Asics for the past 25 years. While the brand isn't as strong as it used to be, it is still my most trusted brand.
However,this was the first ascics shoe that gave me a corn on each foot. I'll never wear these again

I have been buying Asics for years and the sizes seem to be getting less in width recently. I have always worn a 9/4-e and they were perfect. The ones just purchased were that size and I could barely get them on and they overall felt small.

The insoles are glued in, and look like they can't be removed without causing damage to the shoe. I always wear upgraded insoles. Almost every pair of running shoes I buy have removable insoles, including previous versions of this shoe. These look like they're good quality, but the insoles should be removable.

Although comfy out of the box, within six months the sole had detached from the shoe. I had the same experience with a second pair of Asics bought at the same time that I rotated wearing with these ones - both of them are falling apart now.

I bought what I thought was the identical shoes I already had. They looked the same online. When they arrived, they were not the same. Less arch support. They say they are size 9 like the pair I have but they are at least a half size larger. Too big for me. Very dissatisfied.

These are EXTREMELY narrow for a 4E. My husband and I both wear a 10.5 mens shoe (easier to find than a 12 woman’s). His 4E fit me comfortably, maybe a tiny bit loose. We went back to the comfort 8 and it fit perfect for him. Not sure what happened to this series but it is not wide at all.

The toe box is too narrow. Though the sneakers are 12.5, I see nothing that says 4X width. It does say extra wide, but that's it.

I have purchased the Jolt 2 several times and have been very pleased with that product. For some reason, I couldn't find the Jolt 2 on the website a few weeks ago, so I purchased the GEL-CONTEND 7. I am not pleased with the comfort of this product. It is not comfortable at the front of the shoe. This morning I was able to find the Jolt 2 on the website and purchased 2 pair (like I have done in the past) to replace the GEL-CONTEND 7.
