Ouch! I bought a half size smaller. My feet are two different sizes so I’m used to being able to buy the smaller size for sandals so they fit snug. I guess I should not have done that for these because although I loved them for how stylish they look and how comfortable and active they feel BUT somehow they’ve hurt the back of my heel. I guess they’re too short. My toes feel fine but the back of my heels got very calloused and torn up a bit. It’s odd because aside from that I loved the fit and it’s not even something I noticed was happening until the end of the season. I’m here contemplating a larger size because they’re still my favorite shoes and they’re hard to stop wearing!

I have loved Keens for many years. I have had steel-toed work shoes, sandals, hiking shoes and everyday shoes made by Keens. All of them fit great. Now I have another good thing to say about Keens: I had to return a pair of sandals because of a fit problem. Keens made it very easy. Thank you, Keens!

I have several pairs of the Keen Whispers and love them and wear them right out of the box. Wanted something with a stronger, deeper grip for a trip that will involve hiking on unstable surfaces. These are made with the same care and function as the Whispers and with much better grip but they are much more tight in width and will need to break them in, hopefully they will.

was looking forward to the new Astoria West sandal I ordered, but unfortunately, it was the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever tried from Keen Footwear.
The shoe was uncomfortable from the first try-on. The sole causes you to feel like you have on a type of wedge shoe and are leaning forward. The straps were so painful that I could not leave it on for more than a few minutes.

Fit well. Definitely run a bit narrow, get a half size bigger as I did.

Your sandals used to be comfortable right out of the box. These caught my eye and I tried them on. The fit wasn't great, but figured I would wear them around the house to break them in. Well I couldn't get used to them and decided to send them back. Sorry Keen.

I appreciate the support this sandal provides. These are my second pair. I like the choice of colors and the fact that they are comfortable for long walks right away.

Well I did send them back and bought the Newport. This sandal, for me , did not feel quite right in terms of stability, cushioning and arch support. It was true to size in length and width so hard to explain why it just didnt feel as comfortable as previous Keens Ive owned.

I was so looking forward to these shoes, but they were incredibly uncomfortable. I usually select Keen's because I find them more accommodating for my bunions. The material used on these shoes was very tight, making every step painful.

The shoe feels great on my feet.the toe protects my feet which has some nail problems and a crooked second toe. It gives air conditioning like a sandal but protects my problem feet.

This is my second pair of Keen sandals, the first was wearing out and my 1 year old pup finished them for lunch! I will probably by another pair this fall! Thank you for such great footwear
