These are cute and comfy, but run really wide. I have regular sized/width feet and had to strap them down to the second to last hole. Very comfy, not sure they are worth the price though. I also notice that dog hair and my hair static cling to them. I’ll keep them for the pool and running errands because they are very comfy.

I definitely like the look for summer. I did notice that when my feet sweat a little from heat, I don't feel secure in them. They slip a little. Keeping. Not sure if I'd buy more in this style. Love Birks still.

I was excited about these Berks. However, I am a tried and true 38 in all my Berks that I wear. I wore these once, and they looked a half size too big. I have to return them and order a size smaller to see if they will fit better!

I am not sophisticated enough to pen prose defining the fit as I am so unaccustomed to Eu sizes. I have also gone barefoot for so long my feet have gotten wider, but the size 43 fits perfectly without socks, and if my toes are cold, the 44 fit just fine. I used to have to take the shoes off and adjust the straps each time.

The shoes came and fit my size 9 foot well. The shoes are super light and easy to wear.

The minute I saw the color I wanted these. Note that I did not say, "need" - I have them in yellow, and the Arizona Berks in coral. But red is my favorite color, and I love it with black, white, jeans (blue), etc. Anyway, I wear a 9 1/2 shoe and all of my Berks are size 40, including these, which are perfect. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the difficulty I had getting the buckles to clasp -not size (plenty of room), but it was close to impossible for me to get the little "tongue" in its hole. I haven't worn them out yet (Massachusetts is still a bit nippy), but I do love the look of them.

Have been missing Birkis dive sandals for years. These come close, but overall quality is inferior to the Birkis counterpart and there's no heel strap. Having a heel strap may have bumped up my experience/opinion a bit.

This time I got Birkenstock Arizona Essentials sandals in Anthracite, size 39N. The Narrow fits my slightly wider than Medium feet. The strap over the arch is long enough to accommodate my high arches. An alternative to flip-flops that can be worn with bed socks. Ugly but comfortable enough. The first pair shipped were defective, but Zappos replaced them in their usual timely and efficient manner.

The fit of these is terrible! I have waterproof Birks in the thong style that I love and have worn for a few years - those fit great. I also have about five other pairs of regular Birks that fit my foot wonderfully. These do not. Why do they only come in narrow width?! I have very average width feet, and these just don’t fit. I wish they came in the regular “D” width. They are too narrow, and the front toe part is far too slanted. If I get my big toe in the proper spot with the groves on the footbed, my other toes hang over the front. It’s very odd. I guess my toes are just too “square” at the front.
