As other reviwhave noted the sizing is a bit off. These are about a quarter inch smaller than the same size in blue. As these are mostly house/kickaround shoes I would have kept them anyway rather than play musical shoes with returns and reordering but the color is more of a dull orange red than a vibrant cherry. I was looking for a vivid red, so back they go!

Ordered 'regular' width and had to adjust straps to narrowest width (I'm normally medium in shoes/sandals) so these are good if you need wide. Unfortunately these are not comfortable for me and they make my feet look huge, so returning.

I had no idea they were plastic. I didn't read the description fully. I should have known. I have been wearing Birkenstock for a couple of years and if it sounds to good to be true it normally isn't.

These have confused me. I am a huge fan of traditional Birkenstock sandals and have been for years. I wanted to try these given that they seem to be waterproof and obviously they are much cheaper than regular Birk sandals. For sizing, I am generally a 9-9.5 in most shoes. In my regular Birk sandals I am always a 39. I have a wider than average foot, so I held off on ordering these forever because all they had available were “narrow” widths. I finally decided to try it and ordered both a 39 and 40 narrow. The width is not an issue to my surprise and fits my wider foot. The 39 is *barely* long enough and the 40 is much too long. What threw me off is how light these are in weight - that may be a plus for some people but it makes them feel cheap and fragile to me. I ordered the white color in both sizes, and there were noticeable blue stains on each pair (the same color blue as the box and the packaging they come in, I’m guessing it was some sort of transfer.) I can’t get the blue to come off and it is noticeable. Lastly, and I can’t believe this isn’t mentioned in more reviews, there is an unbelievable sucking noise that happens when I take a step while wearing these - not every time, but enough of the time. Definitely don’t have this issue with the cork soles. Overall I will probably be keeping the 39s just because I still have a need for new sandals but not sure I am in love with them.

I wanted so much to like this sandal but found the material on footbed hard and uncomfortable. It feels like plastic. Somehow the raised grips on the sandal bed didn't line up comfortably with my toes. Despite adjusting the 2 (very stiff) straps they pinched my little toe cutting off the circulation. Very uncomfortable sandal, I'm still searching for a minimalist black slip-on sandal that is comfortable to wear.

They fit like normal Birk’s, but do not support the same. Also when your feet are hot the top straps stick to the top of your feet and when you are really wet you slide in them. I purchased them just for the pool and beach so they will work just fine.

I really wanted these to work for me. I ordered lots of slides to find a pair I loved, and had high hopes for these. Alas, it was not to be. The sole is super hard, and does not at all conform to the foot like regular Birks, so if your foot doesn't exactly match up to the anatomy of the slide, you are out of luck. It rubbed horribly on the small bunion of one of my feet.

All in all, I would say for the reputation and price, I am disappointed in these. First, the footbed is not equally as supportive as traditional Birks. Secondly, the material is similar to that of a Croc. Its a little marshmallowy, foam-like...feels cheap, and my feet sweat in this type of material. If you wear Birks for the main reason of support, you will be disappointed in these. If you wear Birks for the look and ease, then you probably won't care. They're fine, meh, ok.

The color of this shoe is deceiving. I thought I was getting a black shoe and in actuality it's like a metallic gunmetal gray. The fit on these seems different from other birkenstock styles. Usually I would have a little toe and heel room, but my foot sat right at the edge on both ends. (I don't like that on sandals.) This fits more like a 13M in women's instead of a 13-13.5 men's size.

Great sandals. But be careful about the size you choose. I find there is a surprising amount of variation in Birkenstock sizes from one model to another. In their clogs I need at least a 46, and can wear 47 with very thick winter socks. I returned these for size 45, which are still too long.

Fit true to size however run slightly bigger than Arizona Birks. Style as expected but the toe contouring in the footbed is uncomfortable so will be sending back.

I've been wearing Birkenstocks for decades, and I'm always happy with them. These, though, fall short. They are light and supportive, but the straps are stiff and they don't mold to my instep. In the warm weather (it's been in the high 80's here), they quickly become sticky with sweat under the straps and the footbed gets slippery. Maybe they'll be okay with socks in the winter, and since we have about three weeks of winter here, these will last forever.

I had high hopes for these but unfortunately was so disappointed with the quality for the price. I have the leather Arizona’s but I wear them to the beach a lot and don’t want them to get wet so I tried these since they are a waterproof material. I went with my usual size in Birkenstock’s (39) and tried the narrow which was a great fit since it looked more feminine. However, I have to return them because they feel like $10 sandals you buy at a pharmacy or souvenir kiosk on vacation. I could tell immediately these would not hold up over time so back they went. I will invest in another pair of the Arizona’s instead and use my current for the beach.

Not comfortable. No cushion. Quite thin sole. Quite stiff... I have been wearing Birkenstocks with the cork sole for years; probably 15 at least. I love their shoes until these. These do not conform to the foot. I tried to make them work I walked in them indoors for a few hours on various days and I was not happy. Had to sadly send them back. Why can’t they mold this shoe exactly with the same shape as their cork shoes? The Mudd sandals by Kohl’s like this are so much better; but they have been discontinued :(

The size, fit, and feel were good but within an hour of wearing them, the top strap buckle broke. I wore the originals (leather and cork sole) all through college and never had issues. The foam ones seem to be very cheaply made or I got a defective pair?

Great promise, but fails to deliver. Material stretches a lot, and breaks easily, only after about a month of use. It definitely needs to be more resilient!

I am ordering this in a size smaller in hope this will fit. This appears to be a little hard, but difficult to know for sure because they are so large.

These make fart sounds between my foot and the plastic molded footbed with every step. Also, I thought Birkenstock plastic shoes might have some quality that made it worth paying for their brand name, but no, these are just plastic molded shoes that any number of shoes mimic at Walmart. Definitely returning them.

These were too wide and I have a wider width foot for a gal. I fully tightened up both straps as far as I could go using the last hole on the and they were still too big. I wear a 41 in Birkenstocks and I have both the sandals and the mule and unfortunately, these will have to go back. Disappointed that the sizing seems inconsistent.

It's been a few years since I wore Birkenstocks and these were not comfortable at all; I am returning them. I tried the blue--it looked like a vibrant cobalt in the photo but in person was less bright and closer to purple than cobalt. The yellow was good but I hoped it would look more neon in person.
