I’m usually a small but these shorts super cut into my thighs and I’m definitely going to have to size up! If you’re built with thin legs these might work! For the more athletically built, definitely size up.

Sizing is way off in my opinion. Although these shorts are great quality, the medium was WAY too tight on me. The waist was tight but the legs squeeze my quads like sausages. For reference, I am a small in other running brands, 5'6" and a 27 waist. In other brooks running shorts, I tried a medium and they are almost too big. I had no idea I would need to size up 2 sizes just to have these fit. Bummed and also they were final sale :( Would love sizing to me more consistent between Brooks women's running shorts.

I'm sorry, but I do not like these shorts. They don't stay down and I find myself pulling them down. They roll up my legs in an unflatteringly way. I do like the high waste and the fit. I honestly would like to return them. I have been buying brooks gear for years and this is the first purchase I don't like.

I had to return these. I've got a generous booty that didn't work with these shorts. I did return.

Shorts run small. I would have had to size up from the usual size I wear in the loose fitting shorts. I also didn't care for the feel of the fabric and stitching. I expected more and better quality from Brooks.

The design and pockets are great, but I found the seam along the bottom rim of each leg to be really uncomfortable. I changed out of them when I could feel myself starting to chafe. Also, the material inside the pocket is really rough.

The material is sheer and the leg hem is too small, causes a bulge in the leg.

The fabric has no stretch and the opening around the thighs is too tight. I am normally a small and I purchased these in a medium as other reviewers mentioned that they ran small. Even in the larger size they were uncomfortable to wear, especially for extended periods of time.

I am on the prowl for good shorts for my thicc thighs and larger sized body. These shorts let me down. With the first step they were gobbled up by my legs and I chaffed a lot. I based my size specifically on my measurements but like most clothing designers Brooks didn't account for bodies that have a wider circumference through their butt, hips, thighs and for those who are strong, more fabric is required to cover that circumference. Maybe a new design will inspire me to try again. But for now I'm still searching for the perfect thiccc thigh shorts

I purchased a size X-small because my other Brooks running shorts are xs. These are not true to size and are too tight for me. I can still wear them, but I should've sized up. I love the color and length. They have great pockets that are super functional.

The material isn't very stretchy and somewhat itchy. I don't know if sizing up would have helped due to this but they are not comfortable. I am between a small and medium in many brands but I almost would like a large in these due to the unforgiving fabric. I loved the terrazzo print but the cut and fabric are not comfortable. I do like the cell phone pockets.

I really like the teal color and fabric, but they just aren't working for me. As others mentioned they run small. The real killer for me is the seam down the middle thar give me a camel toe just walking and standing. Just unfortunate.

These were my absolute favorite shorts & go to for running so I bought some new pairs and the back pocket no longer fits a phone (even thought they still advertise doing so!) The side pockets also lack the loop to hook your keys to. I have an averaged sized phone, not the crazy XL ones so I was super disappointed it no longer fits in the back pocket.

Like most reviewers, I find these run at least 1 size too small, and I'm always a medium in Brooks. I find Brooks sizing is generally smaller compared to other brands, but compared to a previous year's model of these shorts, they feel like a completely different product/size. Hope I can return.

I love the rise and the side pockets BUT!!!! My thighs still gobble these up and I spent more time adjusting them than almost any other running shorts I have. Also, the size chart predicted me to be a medium but I ordered a large. I would?ve looked like a stuffed sausage in the medium. Order up! I?ll probably just use these for my lifting days now. Bummed.

The fit in these is awkward. I am a religious XS or XXS and I had to size up to a S in these which is something I've never done. But here's the main issue - the seam around the thigh is just too tight proportionally and it makes my skinny toothpick legs like sausages and it is not flattering. And this is after sizing up. Sweaty Betty's version is perf.

Purchased these short tights for half marathon training. They look and feel great, the pockets are awesome, but around mile 3 they started to ride up painfully. I had to keep adjusting them and then cut my run short.

The fit on any of Brooks bottoms are not comfortable if you have any type of curves. Though the fabric is quite stretchy the seams are not, are prone to tearing, and will ride up and bunch. They definitely require sizing up, but they are honestly to least comfortable bike shorts I???ve ever tried.

I love love loooooved my old Greenlight versions of Brooks shorts ? so much so that I stocked up years ago and wore them to death, literally. They saw me through several halfs and my first full marathon! So when it was time to re-up on shorts recently, I figured Brooks was a no-brainer. For reference, I've got a curvy athletic body type, with thick thighs, butt, the works. I need a bike short style to prevent chafing, and this Method version seems to be the only one they make right now. I ordered in two sizes ?Medium was so tiny I didn't even attempt to put it on, and Large technically fit but was so uncomfortable and unflattering. The seams dug into my thighs and created bubbles, they bunched awkwardly at the crotch, and the material felt tacky and stiff rather than smooth n sleek. Maybe they get better with a break-in, but they're expensive and I didn't want to risk it. I returned right away and had to switch to another brand. Brooks, please bring back the smoother styles!

They're so much thinner than previous Brooks running shorts. Although the pocket is nice and large for a phone, keys, chews, etc. but they don't have a zipper so there was no way I'd put anything of value in there for fear of it falling out. I feel like they run small as well. I generally wear a small but definitely would have needed a medium. I sent them back and didn't reorder. I'd be willing to pay the extra money to bring back my favorites that were discontinued. They were better made and love the zipper pocket. Now can't find anything that compares to the old Brooks compression shorts.

These shorts are ugly. The "white" part is not white, it's a very light pink color that looks like they were washed with something red. Since they were on sale I thought about keeping them, but they are even too ugly to wear in my home gym.
