I loved these! Tried them on a long run today and they were so comfortable. The waistband holds you in and does not roll down at all. Great length. No chafing going to get another color!

I love these! They hold my tummy in without flipping down or riding up. And my phone fits in the side pockets. I got the gray and they didn?t appear wet afterward although I can assure you I was sweating. I ended up ordering a second pair. :)

Pockets are perfect! Love these shorts!

These are extremely comfortable, have the right amount of compression, stay in place, and are the perfect length with pockets! I?ve got a larger butt and thighs and these are officially my new favorite workout shorts!

These will be great for summer runs. I was hoping to wear these under shorts for playing ultimate frisbee, but I think these are a bit too thick/hot. The pocket will be really useful since most of my running shorts don't have pockets and my old running waistband cannot fit my new gigantic phone

Great, but run a little small. I wear xs in most running shorts, but needed a small in these.

Wanted to love these. The idea is great, but they run small. A size up would've been loose in the waist. The legs are not meant for anyone with thicker legs

These shorts are TIGHT! I have these and the Moment shorts. I give the Moment shorts 5* because I like the fit a little bit better. I have muscular thighs and these ride up just a tad. The moment don't at all on me. These are very snug fitting if that's what you are looking for! The pockets are great and the shorts do not fall down when things are in them.

Like the shorts, fit well. True to size. Comfortable.

These are great. Length long enough to prevent chafing, and they move well with my body. They run a tad smaller than other styles so may want to go up one size- hard to say tho. Half a size up would be perfect for my waste.

Runs small. I'm normally a medium in the Chaser shorts, but a large in these. Pockets are great for phones or keys. I will say these do show sweat (at least the lighter colors). But comfortable to wear.

Great pockets and they don't ride up but they do run a little small. When in doubt, size up.

I run exclusively in these bike-style shorts and these are some of my favorites now. I love the slick polyester material (as opposed to the softer nylon blend that I find too hot), and the extensive pocket options allows me to ditch my running belt when wearing these. Downsides: they run quite small. I usually wear a size small, and even the medium is pretty snug. I even tried a large but two sizes up is too big in the waistband. The snugness and crotch seam also gives a definite camel toe appearance unfortunately, so these won't get any casual use out of me, but they really are perfect for running!

Great shorts but run too small. Bought same size as my older brooks but these are tight, especially on the thighs. Not enough stretch perhaps or just cut small. Great pockets. Probably give away to someone smaller than myself.

I have had a hard time finding spandex shorts that don't ride up. I've only done shorter distances, but these are working well so far. The longer inseam probably helps them stay in place along witha thicker material. Also like the pockets on the sides.

I love these shorts! I have always worn lululemon fast and free 6" shorts but they tend to ride up. These brooks shorts are awesome and stay in place for the entirety of each run. I definitely recommend them! The only reason for giving 4/5 stars is because they are somewhat tight and I feel like the sizing runs a little bit small. Regardless, I love them and plan to buy more for running!

Great fabric but too small. I'm a consistent size 4/small and the size small was way too tiny.

Finally a running short that isn't too short or too long, 5" is perfect coverage. Love the hip pockets; they are a must! The only reason I'm giving a 4-star rating instead of 5, is because I feel these shorts run a bit on the snug side. Overall, a great running short with pockets for essentials.

Nothing great or awful about these shorts. I have to wear underwear under them, but that is consistent with almost every other brand I have tried. Seams and I just don't get along well. I wear this pair under wind pants for those windy winter days in the desert, since they seem to be a little extra small even for compression shorts and aren't fit to be seen in public.

Love these shorts! No rolling, riding up, moving around, etc. Sized up from my usual size and fits perfectly. Drawstring waist is a game changer for pear shaped runners. I own 3 pairs now. I am disappointed though that the logo immediately started peeling off though, it makes an otherwise high quality item seem cheap.

Like another reviewer said, the first mile or so they do ride up a little bit, but once you start sweating they will stay in place. It's kind of annoying at first, but after the first mile I forget about it. I also have to tie the drawstring really tight, so that the waistband stays put. Overall, they're definitely one of the better running shorts I've worn. I wish they would make these in a mid-waist.

I bought these in magenta, and love the color. I read the other reviews before buying and did size up to a large (5' 4", 145#). There is a slight gap at the waist but the drawstring is nice to have and also having the extra room for days where I am a little bloated. I think the length is probably perfect to avoid chafing on your thighs but not feel like you're wearing too much extra fabric. I think they are perfect for warm weather, because for the first mile or so they do ride up a little bit, but once you start sweating they will stay in place. This may be helped if there were some type of grip system on the inside band of the leg. Overall, I like the shorts and the amount/placement of pockets, and am happy with this purchase.
