Probably a perfect copy from th 1970s but hard to walk in as a senior. Clomp Clomp Clomp!

I have a pair with flexible soles and want a wood sole but they hurt my feet and I could not keep my foot in place so I sanded down the bump that is in the top middle of the shoes and scored the top of the sole at the toe and heel area and now you can not get me out of them.

I really wish they would go back to the original. I like them and will wear them but I have a pair of originals and they are better. Please please go back to the originals. The leather is to far forward and it's not as tall or chunky. Why change perfection?

Disappointed I ordered red but the 'red' is actually tangerine

They're acceptable, not like originals, toe grip is lower, not as easy to walk in, straps stretch pretty quickly, not sure if they will continue to stretch, heavier then originals.

I couldn't wait to get my sandals, but was slightly disappointed when they arrived. They're not the original sandal from the 70's. The wood isn't solid and the hump under the toe isn't there. They run small in size too. I wear a 10 1/2 so I bought an 11. They're narrow and my heel comes to the edge. I had difficulty opening the band across the toe for adjustment, so unfortunately I will return.

just not the same but a close remake of the original. much heavier, wider, clunkier foot bed. straps are placed slightly higher toward toes on the base which can cause blisters on big toe. but with all that said, these are made with quality materials and seem like they'll last a while. size 9 is a true 40

Despite having read the reviews that said that there is no longer a toe grip, I thought I would give these a try and see for myself. I am so incredibly disappointed- there is NOT a toe grip, and I don't know how anyone gets these to stay on their feet. I absolutely adored my Dr Scholls when I was a kid in the 70s, and am just crushed that I can't get the same ones anymore. Dr. Scholls- if a huge chunk of your customers are requesting these be redesigned with the toe grip, why not actually listen to that feedback? I am returning these, and going on an internet hunt for the ACTUAL "original" Exercise Sandals.

In a moment of nostalgia I ordered the Kate Spade "original" Dr Scholls sandals. I loved wearing these back in the day and was looking forward to wearing them again. These are definitely not the original sandal design. There is barely a bump for the toe grip so it's extremely difficult to keep the shoes on when you walk. They are cute, but they are going to mostly stay in my closet (if I don't return them).

Why call them "classic" without the bump that made them famous???? The colors and "look" are the same but bring back the bump!!!!! I bought my first pair at the drugstore with my mom. The bump was what made them good for walking

I love the shoe and was so excited for them to arrive, but they arrived just in their box with open tape as if they had been opened. I am a 7.5 to an 8. I ordered the 8. The color is WAAAAYYY off. I ordered the red, these are salmon/orange color. I like the color, but was really wanting the classic red and am disappointed. These aren't a little bit off, the color is not red AT ALL. They fit and I loathe returning but I am disappointed and wish I had the correct color as ordered.

They look great with capris and leggings but they make a lot of noise! Now I remember those years growing up and hearing the moms clunking sounds from above. lol

The fit is more suited for a "wide" foot. I have a narrower foot and have had a difficult time trying to wear the shoes because they are too wide. Otherwise they are the Dr. Scholl sandals I use to wear and remembered. I'm looking for a work around so I can wear them. Unfortunately this is a final sale and I can't exchange them for a smaller size.

I ordered wrong size and style in this shoe. I wanted the new modern rubber soles

After wearing them a couple of times and literally falling off my feet while walking and trying to get out of the car and in the car I sadly disappointed in them. I wear a 7.5 shoe so I went with the 8. I have raw bloody blister on one of my big toes as I'm am attempting to keep these on my feet. super annoyed and now can't return them. What happened to these? Ugh

I wear dr. school sandal 55 years ego in Germany and this one feels different Liked the original better

I was hoping for the 'old school' Dr. Scholl's, but disappointed that they seemed very flat, not molded to the foot and does not have the toe grip like they used to-To late to return and very expense

I absolutely love this shoe but unfortunately I had to send them back too small! J

I got these a few weeks ago, and the color is a pinkish salmon color. Not sure why it is advertised as red leather, because it is definitely not red. Super sad that it isn't a bright cherry red like I was expecting.

I was really excited to receive these as I wore them all the time when I was younger and just loved them. Unfortunately, not these.. they aren't the same fit or comfort. It's just a flat piece of wood without any contour for your feet. Very hard to walk in so afraid to leave house with them. Still love the look, too bad they aren't the same feel.

It's great looking but a little heavy . I wore Dr Scholls as a teenager but I don't remember them this heavy.
