I work from home at a standing desk, and need support that’s better than a slipper. I had another version of these: The Encore Slide Q2 Pro in 8.5 from last year that ran large - a size 8 was out of stock, so I added an additional foam insole to keep from flopping around. They have not worn out at all, but I decided to get one that fits better- so I recently ordered this version: the Encore 2 Slide AC+ Pro in an 8, assuming it would fit better … but now it’s narrow and short. So I’ll return and get the 8.5, assuming that since this entire style runs narrower and tighter, that the half size up will work. So much for consistency in sizing, Merrell!

I work in two kitchens and needed this slide as a work shoe. They are perfect! I am stable on all the surfaces and they stay put on my feet. I wear these Merrell Work Encore slides 5 to 6 days a week. Super comfortable to get through the entire day..

I purchased these shoes to be worn at home and to put on when I needed to pick up my mail from my mailbox. They offer a non-skid sole which I will test out the next time I wash my tiled floors. I had purchased 2 different sizes hoping one would fit and the size that was my normal shoe size did fit. The shoe does not run wide like another name brand clog that I have owned and so fits my normal width foot well. Those with wide feet may find them too tight. This shoe DOES have a removable insole and so can accommodate orthotics.

Strangely, size was fine in width + length. Unfortunately my arch ( top of foot ) is very high, making it impossible to get my foot in comfortably.

Love them, but they're too small! ?

I ordered my regular size 7.5 and the fit was perfect. At first these shoes were a bit tight to put on, but as the shoes molded to my feet I forgot I was wearing shoes. After I hurt my back, I needed a sturdy, comfortable shoe and these fit the bill. They aren’t for dress up, but they are pure comfort to wear casually.
