I had purchased the lid separately and I have LOVED IT! only problem is that the actual straw has cracked a little over time so whenever I sip it makes a weird noise. But I honestly believe this lid has helped drink more water! I find myself constantly drinking water now especially at work/school.

my only complaint is that they dont have a red or any other collor

I have used HydroFlask for YEARS and LOVE THEM. Have no complaints except for the straw top. LOVE IT BUT the rubber surrounding this gets really uccckky after awhile, especially for women that might have lipstick on when using as I do. PLEASE, make a replacement piece that can slip over this. See that I'm not the only one that has made this comment, one was from 3 yrs. ago, so PLEASE NOW!!

Love the straw top and the convenience it offers. Unfortunately, after only 2 months of use my flamingo colored lid is a light pink. I live in Las Vegas and I left the bottle (with ice water inside) in a shaded part of the car when I would run into stores because it stated cool. Then I noticed the fading. After 10 straight days on the lake and using the bottle nonstop the fading became very obvious. Still works great though.

I love this product, however i would highly appreciate if it came in our yellow color. If that recommendation was met I would be very happy

So at the start of the year I bought the lid for my 40oz hydro, LOVE IT. BUT I believe I got a faulty one because everything I've bought from them has been awesome! but when it goes on its side it leaks from the side where it tightens. I've asked others that have the same and theirs do not leak. I am a little disappointed; but I love it they make quality products

I love this cap for my hydroflask. I've been drinking more water ever since I bought it! Would recommend, however can't put it in my backpack without it leaking. I have to use another lid for when I plan to put it in a bag. Besides that it is great and helps me stay hydrated. I even use it around the house.

I love my Hydroflask but these lids need to change. First off, a latex free spout would be great. My daughter can't use them because she is allergic to them. I agree with other reviews and think they would benefit by using a hard plastic. The last replacement lids I bought don't seem to fit as well. I have a hard time getting them to screw on. It takes several attempts each time so I keep going back to the old one. I know the description says it is not leak proof but I don't have any problems with leaking if the spout is closed. I love these and carry them with me everywhere I go. Just need a few tweeks.

I love the straw lid. A few future improvements could include: - removable flip straw, to make it easy to clean. I only drink water in it and I know it gets grungy in the cracks and I can't completely clean it. That would mean that end could be replaced as needed..........and after my 2 year niece bites it up within a few hours of sneaking off with my flask! - Colors would be awesome, of course - adding the latest handle!!!! Larger bottles are heavy when full and hard on my index finger

LOVE my Hydro flask! Living in Las Vegas, NV it is my very best friend. However, my nipple is gross no matter how many times I have cleaned it in hot soapy water or with vinegar and baking soda. I am getting ready to buy a new one now.

I have bought 3 of these so far. I drink my amino acids at the gym in my 40 oz wide mouth. It does start to erode the straw/rubber piece. Like any plastic, it wont last forever. I have to buy a new lid/straw every few months, but it's worth it to me. I can't stand having ice hit my teeth and the straw is a great way to avoid this problem.

It's awesome being able to drink while driving over speed bumps and not pouring ice water all over yourself or taking a quick sip instead of stopping, unscrewing the top and then drinking and replacing the cap. Perfect for hiking. You can still get a lot of liquid through quickly. My only issue is that the cap seems to sweat much more than the screw top and my drink does not stay as cold. Probably less than 50% of the time compared to the screw top. That being said, I still use the straw and love it!

I love almost everything about this lid. No leaks, great for holding. BUT..... It gets smelly pretty fast. A mildew/moldy smell. I have been cleaning it often but by the end of the day I can smell it when I go to take a drink.

The only problem with the straw lid is the black mold stains that forms on the mouthpiece. I've tried dishwashing soap and hot water, and soaking in vinegar but the black stains will not come out.

I love this top, yet I don't like it. Bought a 32 oz wide mouth bottle and a flip up straw top for my 9 year old son. He loves it and uses it everyday. The issue is that the rubber spout has black crud on it. I wash it and wash it and it sill is on it. I believe it is mold... so, I am ordering another one to try again and a flip top one that doesn't have the rubber spout.

I'm not the type to give a bad review, I have a 64 hydro flask myself and I use it on a daily bases. Since I got a hydro flask I wanted this lid so I don't really would need to tip it up to drink. But since iv been using it the mouth piece was really getting bad to where the rubber mouth piece would turn black and I don't know why it would do such thing.

It functions as intended, but I've used better from competitor brands. I wish it had the straw spout and a pour spout like the fifty-fifty lid.

I personally liked the softer rubber end to the straw, didn't hurt my teeth when trying to drive, walk or hike and bump my teeth on it. I miss the graphic logo and the option for the grey lid.

The lid works well for the most part, but the straws that came with it melted in the dishwasher within one week of purchase. There were no directions not to put them in the dishwasher, and I figured my other straws had no issues, so I was disappointed when this happened. Luckily, I have a few spares so I was able to use those. Like others have mentioned, the plastic part somehow is already peeling from bite (?) marks. I don't bite down on the lid but it peels and flakes rather easily with not a lot of wear and tear. Lastly, I bought this 10 months ago and it already broke. The white plastic stopper piece that goes underneath the lid to protect it from leaking somehow fell off so if I don't keep my bottle upright, the water seeps through the lid everywhere. I thought hydroflask lids were made to last but apparently not. Overall, it works well but don't expect this to last long. It hasn't been a year, and I'm already looking for a replacement, and it won't be this one!

The little gasket that stops the cap from leaking dislodged, where can it be replaced? I do not use a straw and sip form the cap, now water is leaking all over me. I do not want to buy a new cap because the point of having this bottle is to reduce my footprint.

Love this but gets dirty so so easily. also spills if you don't push mouthpiece down

Straw fits loosely and falls off occasionally. Other than that it works fine

I bought this lid after my old one somehow broke and started sucking up mostly air and making a loud sound. I tried different ways of fixing it but to no avail, so I bought a new one. Now this new one makes a clicking, suction sound after every sip, when I remove my mouth from the lid. I really just wanted a quiet product, and they can't seem to accomplish that with the straw lids.

No leakage. Can throw in bag. Had to cut the straw.

The straws do not fit the 32oz bottles. the lid also makes a loud noise like the straws don't fit correctly. not a huge problem, i just cut the straw to fit
