I would 100% recommend this for you Hydro Flask! There are honestly no downsides to this product.

I drive trucks and have been using this lid for 5 months and haven't had a problem. I only need one hand while driving. No more taking both hands off the wheel like other bottles. Easy to clean and goes great with a 64oz bottle.

I am a HUGE believer in all the HYDRO FLASK products ( love them !!! )and have over 10 different one. The first flip lid w/ a straw HYDRO FLASK came out with for there wide mouth bottles was AWESOME!!!! ( the gray & black lid) IE 32 oz and 40 oz. The new lids are terrible. Hope you guys can resolves this problem and soon. I would recommend Hydro Flask and do every chance I get. But as I stated new lids are terrible.

This will further refine you hydro flask and increase function.

I have had this lid for 6 months now I do love the convience of a straw although taking the lid on and off is difficult it is my favorite lid. I just wish they had more colors and replacement bite pad.

While on vacation in Hawaii. I bought a 32oz hydro flask for me to use at work in Pine Lake, Ga. Were the humidity is normally 96% at a temp of 97. I take it everywhere I go and always have something cold to drink , as I work outside. Plus the lid I got doesn't let debri get into it. When I finish the liquid I still have ice to put more ice tea in. Awesome.

I bought my hydro flask back during the summer of 2015. I use it daily to drink the suggested 64 ounces of water every day. I have a 32 oz. wide-mouth, so I easily drink two flasks worth of water every day. As for the straw lid, in over a year's worth of daily use, it is in like new condition. I do not chew the end that goes in my mouth, it only is used for drawing waster into my mouth. I cannot figure out how people get gooey melts tips, but I can say I only use the straw top for cold water. I can only say good things about the straw top, it works like a charm for me.

So many mold related posts...when all else fails, follow the instructions. Don't bleach or clean your flask in the dishwasher. DO wash the straw lid and straws in the dishwasher, or bleach them after hand-washing. There's no mold at all after 1.5 years of daily use.

I have been using the Hydro Flask Pint glasses for over a year, so for my birthday my family gave me a bottle with this flip-top lid and straw in it. The lid design is excellent, both for carrying the bottle with its easy-to-grab loop handle, and for the fact you can drink all the contents except for about 1 oz of fluid remaining without ever having to open the bottle. As someone who loves to drink iced tea as I work, this is the perfect lid for my desk!

I love my 32 oz wide mouth. I first got one when I was pregnant and I was so thirsty all the time. I went in and got a pregnancy massage and left my hydroflask in the car in 115 degree heat and came back out to a ice cold drink. I'm so impressed! I do not go anywhere without mine

I like using a straw and this lid fits the bill! I've had only positive results...doesn't leak, easy one-hand open. I bought extras so I always have a clean one. I soak them in a bleach-water mixture. They hold up great. I've dropped my 40 oz bottle multiple times...down concrete steps, on multiple surface floors, still going strong.

Other lids I have used like this have taken a lot of effort to drink, not this cap. Each to use, easy to clean. It's great!

I am a river guide and when I am rolling down the river I don't often have the time to unscrew a cap to quench my raging thirst. That's why I love this straw! It's also been great when I am driving my jeep off-road. I can now sip ice cold water at my pleasure while tackling the raging rapids of the Colorado or the treacherous 4x4 trails of Moab because of this straw. Thanks Hydro Flask!

I love my hydroflask, but I didn't like the wide mouth so I bought this straw lid, and now I love my hydroflask even more!

-It may not be guaranteed leakproof, but it has performed for me for over a year with NO LEAKS! I love it. flow is excellent, loop helps me carry it without dropping it ( my first one fell so many times)

I bought this for myself but it's come in handy with my two year old! It's not leak proof, that's the only down fall but it hasn't leaked yet

Since the HF comes with a twist off cap and not a straw lid, it does make it a little more effort to drink from. Simply purchasing the straw lid easily solved that issue. The packaging for the straw lid and the HF website states that the straw lid is not leak proof. However I did tested this theory out. I filled my HF completely to the top flip the entire HF upside down and left it there for about 10 minutes (I figured most instances you it would lay on its side instead of upside down... LOL) and surprisingly there was no water on my counter! YAY! I can even change the lid to the Hydro Lid if I want to use the HF as a coffee travel mug. That's one of the things I also liked about the HF, is the interchangeable lids for the wide mouth HF. It makes it a versatile travel companion in my everyday life.

I purchased this when I found my regular wide mouth lid to constantly spill on me during workouts. It was truly a godsend. I am not sure what other consumers are using their flasks for but I have only ever used mine for water. That being said I have never had mine result in any buildup, mold, or discoloration unless I was using them for my smoothies outside of my flask. I have also never had any of those issues with my flask. I use it everyday and at gross as it may sound to some only wash it probably every 2 weeks. Sadly enough I am without my straw lid because after chewing off the rubber (a nervous habit), I dropped my flask (the largest one offered and while completely full) on a tile floor from a 6 foot height and it broke...but understandably so with the weight and construct of the flask itself. I am constantly telling others to purchase this flask and ALWAYS mention to get the straw lid. My only complaint is that the straw lid doesn't come standard.

I am in love with all HydroFlask Products. I currently own two of the mugs and have started getting my family on board with them. I love that my coffee stays hot for hours and it seems as if the ice never melts in my cold drinks. Also my mugs seem indestructible, I have dropped, hit and even thrown my bottles (all on accident) and they are still good to go!

Great accessory for the Hydro Flask. Good flow rate through the straw, keeps the bottle sealed (unless you are shaking the bottle inverted and then only a drop or two). I routinely lay the bottle down full on the passenger seat of the car and not so much as a drop. I have not experienced ice melting faster when using the cap. After 4 months of daily very heavy use the rubber tip is still in good shape.

We bought 5 Hydro Flasks with the wide lid, 3 with straws. The liquid stays cold with ice in 100 degree car in Sacramento for many hours. Family is calling this the miracle flask. Can't wait to get more lids with straws. I am drinking more water because it tastes better.

I bought this cap with my 40 ounce Hydroflask and I really like it. It makes it easy to access and drink. I can flip the nozzle up while holding it in one hand. The finger ring makes it easy to hold and transport. I did have a very small amount of leakage once from the little air valve, I had the bottle laying on its side. It was a very small amount, somewhat like condensation. It did NOT leak from the caps seal. This valve helps to let you drink by letting air into the bottle to release the pressure built up when you drink from the straw. I have not had the issue that the one reviewer mentioned. Ice stays more than 24 hours in my bottle. And I use this every day. I love my bottle. The cap is really a great accessory.

This works great! I think the reviewer that's complaining of not keeping temp cold is leaving the straw upright. I haven't had any issues with keeping beverages cold (& I use it 24/7), but you must remember to put the straw back down. My only problem is that my kids keep biting the rubber part and now I need a new one.

I got this with my 40 oz, and I LOVE it! I know that they do not guarantee this to be leak proof, but I have not had it leak yet. Further, if that ever does become an issue, I have the original lid to use (which IS leak proof). I also love the finger hole on this one as it makes the fat 40 oz a little easier to handle. My wife likes that finger hole deal as well. I would buy this again instantly!
