Bought a 16oz tumbler on line, shipped to local store, waited. No lid! No lid other lid would fit. Sales person really tried to help me. How does this work in keeping my drink hot or cold or from spilling in my car? It was the perfect size, color. But no lid is no bueno.

Disappointed that the lid is open. Carried to car, along with everything else I have to schlep, and liquid falls out. Are there other interchangeable lids you can purchase as with other Hydro Flask products?

Many members of my family have been swooning over their Hydro Flasks, so I was pleased to receive the tumbler for my birthday. The tumblers, apparently, are a few steps down in quality and function from the other styles; yet the features are described and marketed as similar to the the original flasks. Especially, the lid needs functionality to close the drinking hole. A couple different lid choices would be nice. The tumbler will NOT keep things hot/cold for very long; unlike its' counterparts. I like the tumbler just fine...the colors are fun, it fits in my car's cup holder, doesn't sweat, etc. But don't by this product expecting them to be a smaller version of the other products. It's simply another well made insulated tumbler; but does not work as it is described to.

I bought this tumbler in December as I have flask that has worked out okay and I really didn't know much about HF, Yeti or all the other stainless, insulated cups out there. After 2 months, I noticed a metallic taste, thinking it was bad water or my tumbler needed a good wash, I scrubbed it good only to realize the metal is chipping and pitting on the bottom. Ick - how much did I drink? They offered replacement but I'm nervous about it happening again. Drinking metal flakes can't be good for you. I don't recommend this brand.

The lid is awful. You can't take a causal sip without trying to find the opening, which has to be done by feel in the dark.

I bought one in 2017 it cracked keep water clod about 24 hrs. But the new ones I recieved only keeps it cold about 4 hrs.

Lid is not tight in the least bit. Won't even hold its own weight without falling out. I am afraid to use this with coffee, could easily spill hot coffee on yourself.

I was so excited to own a Hydro Flask!!! That is, until I went to use it. The lid is EXTREMELY loose. I wish I had known before I purchased 3 more for gifts. Will not buy again.

i filled this cup to the rim w/ ice and then water and within two hours the ice had melted and the water was warm. i immediately returned and got my money back. had high expectations and was for sure let down.

I've had this hydro flask for a while now but the lid makes it impossible to drink my coffee. Not sure if the air hole isn't large enough or what but I have burned myself multiple times when trying to take a sip. The coffee stays hot for a while but I do not recommend this if hot drinks are what it'll be used for.

I've been using a 22 oz stainless steel tumbler and it says it wont retain odors, but coffee and tea is staining the inside. Even with constant cleaning I cant get rid of the color and the smell of coffee/teas and i used this for hot and cold beverages.

So bummed, I got this as a birthday gift and after a couple weeks of use I am so disappointed in the lid and seal. As I tip to sip, the lid leaks heavily at the seal every single drink I take. I took the rubber seal off to clean it, I tried everything I could to get it to seal properly and half of the liquid comes through the seal instead of the opening every time I take a drink. I can put my thumb over the opening, tip a little bit, and liquid just streams out between the tumbler rim and the lid. It gets on my chin and drips everywhere, in the car, on my clothes, and unless you try and put your lips around the whole bottom half of the cup to remedy the leak then its a mess and a hassle. DON'T BUY IT.

Love the size and color, hate the lid. My coffee spilled all over the car the first time I used it.

In addition to all the lid issues mentioned, it rusts like crazy. And the outside has ugly water spots all over that can't be removed and looks like I never wash it. Not worth paying the shipping to have it replaced by warranty.

I love hydroflask, and was excited to get a new one for tea--especially one that fits in my car drink holder. However, that's the only place this thing is safe from falling over. The narrow base and wide mouth is a serious defect, as anytime this cup is filled more than half way, it tips over and spills. The lid is also super shallow, and the drinking hole is too tiny to mix cool air and liquid with when sipping--so you burn yourself. The lid was impossible to get off when it was new, but after a few weeks of use it is loose. This morning I had it only 1/2 filled with tea, and it tipped over and the scalding liquid poured all down my front and legs leaving a few blisters. I would absolutely only recommend this for water, not hot liquids or anything that could make a mess.

I just bought the 22 oz tumbler and took it to work today. It spilled out of the hole for drinking I had it in a secure cup holder in my car. Very disappointing.

Purchased two 22oz tumblers to replace a Starbucks coffee cup. All was fine until I took my first sip. The lid is shallow on top and you will BURN your lips and mouth when drinking a hot beverage. Look at any cup from your local coffee shop and they have a depression where the liquid comes out. Think about it, you inhale air some and it mixes with the beverage. With this lid it is very shallow and if you try to drink the hot beverage normally, you get burned. I told my wife about this and she laughed, until I got home tonight and she showed me her burnt lips. The photo on the order page is not what the lid looks like. It would be simple to improve on and the rating would go to 5 stars. It does keep the beverage hot for a long time and nice that the lid is insulated. I hope that HF takes a hot cup of joe and tries to take a drink. Then the design will change. These are heading back to REI. It does keep a beer cold though! but no lids are used with beers.
