Fits great and very comfortable

Comfortable shoe. I am on my feet most of the day and this is a great show

This shoe met my expectation and are very comfortable to walk in.

As a sales professional, I've been looking for the perfect shoe for sometime... one that tics the boxes for both style AND comfort. This is the first shoe in 30 years I've found that scores a "10" in each of those categories. The Wife says I look like a million bucks in them.

The ease of ordering and the comfortable water proof shoe made this an excellent choice for me. I'll certainly purchase from you again. This is my second shoe purchase from you.

great for wet or snowy weather, good looking, well built, wish they offered these XC4's in cordovan/oxblood color.

I love this shoe. When J&M first came out with their XC4 line I bought a couple different models. They were so comfortable on my picky feet. My only concern was that they weren't very dressy. I wore them with suits but they were a little too casual. I gave that feedback a few years ago and now they offer this shoe. I bought the brown, and a month later bought black. Great shoes! If you produce a cordovan or oxblood color I will get that, too.

Shoes look and feel amazing. Good sole thickness and workmanship looks great.

Comfortable for all day wear but note that if you truly wear all day, most of the week, the shoe's longevity isn't the greatest at the price point.

I really like these shoes but I wish J&M would figure out how to break in shoes to save them from cutting up my heels. I would gladly pay more for the no heel cutting version.

I was disappointed to find that the shoe I like was discontinued, so I gave this shoe a try as it is really similar in design. Sadly, while it looks great, it is akin to wearing a razor blade on the back of your foot. I wore them twice hoping the first trip to work in them was just a break in phase, but unfortunately it just messed up my feet more to the point that I was cut and bleeding on the back of my foot/leg where the top edge of the back of the shoe cuts into you. I can't recommend these. I am an airline pilot and have been wearing JM shoes for years, but it might be time to move on.

I've purchased many XC4 shoes from your company in the past the most recent design is not comfortable the upper leather is too stiff the soul is very flimsy and not supportive a far reach from your past shoe designs I'm not sure why the change but it has not been a great experience for me someone who stands on their feet all day

M/W fit is not wide at all. Disappointing.

Sole cracked and allowed water ingress with only about 40 days of wearing

I have purchased JM in the past and loved them. The problem with these is they try to make a show for both wide and medium widths. The problem is, if you need a medium width, you need to leave the extra sole in and it raises your heel so it runs against the top of the shoe causing a blister. By the time this happens, you have worn them outside enough that you can no longer return. POOR DESIGN.

Not as comfortable as the hype

The leather is so stiff on the heel, I can already feel it ripping away at my skin and I've only been wearing them for a few hours. This feels like a cheap plastic shoe. I'll be returning for a full refund.

I have been buying this series of shoe for about 10 years now. From my initial purchase to my most recent, this product has declined in quality significantly. It has been about a month of wearing this new, made in China, shoe and it's still very uncomfortable. The short cuts from leather to plastic and cloth are noticeable and ruin what was a great product.

I'm very disappointed in the look. It doesn't look like leather or even leather like. The catalog photo definitely doesn't look like the final product.
