This is the 2nd pair I have purchased for my 14 year old son. He loves the comfort level and the conservative and stylish looks. A truly great shoe made of high quality materials.

My 3rd pair of Maddox XC4 and they are exactly as described! Very comfortable, waterproof and light weight! What I can add is at 61 yrs old and still doing 12hr days on a trade floor they are NOT exhausting! Plantar Fasciitis and beat up feet from sports all my life these shoes are worth every penny and then some. The then some is for how long they last! I'm getting 2 plus years of wear out of pair of these and that makes these shoes a deal! If you have garbage feet, work long hours and hate being sore & achy at night from your shoes spend the extra dime and get a pair of Maddox XC4! You'll love them! Oh, and they look great with a suit or jeans!!!

These shoes are very comfortable and stylish. They are very good for walking. I normally wear a size 9. 5 in a Vans or Nike type shoe. In these shoes, the 9. 0 were a little too long, so I tried the 8. 5. They were the right length, but around my foot was too tight. I have an XC4 in a bike toe. The 8. 5 size in the bike toe fits perfectly and is extremely comfortable for walking. It is my favorite shoe. You may really like this shoe if you can find the right fit.

These shoes look great and no break-in. I put them on and walked away.

From time to time my husband gets corns on his baby toe so the right shoe and fit is important. We bought the most comfortable dress shoe in black for my husband for our daughter's wedding; and for this year's Christmas bought him the same shoe in brown. He is now all set for comfort and classic style thanks to Johnston & Murphy.

Great shoe, Stylish and very comfortable. Only thing I would like to see different is a bit more arch support. Otherwise great shoe.

I travel a lot for work and wear these every trip above all the other shoes in my closet. Extremely comfortable for walking round airports, cities etc. Johnston & Murphy - please make them in a dark brown color as well, please!

Stylish and comfortable. Due to some preexisting injuries comfort is extremely important for me in picking a shoe. But, of course, style cannot be overlooked.

The shoes not only look good, but the fit is exceptional. There was some sizing issue on the initial order as these run bigger than size, but the return and replacement process was seamless.

Great shoes, broke in after wearing them two days. Usually order 9.5, but was a size 9 with these Johnston & Murphy's. Actually ordered a brown pair as well. Highly recommend!

Excellent quality and fit

I have been wearing the last week at the office since I got them. Comfortable out of the box! Good support and not "too cushiony" - in a good way.

I'm an airline pilot and I'm hard on shoes. These came recommended by a buddy so I tried them. I wear a size 12 wide in everything else but after sending these back twice I ended up with a 10.5 MW and left the inserts in. I do love these shoes. They are extremely comfortable and the non-slip soles are nice for walking up and down wet air stairs to do walk arounds. The soles are soft and nice to fly with. I highly recommend these.

Every man needs fun shoes and classics! These are the black classic that fit well and are very comfortable!

I ordered these shoes for my husband for our daughter's wedding. He loves them and cannot believe how comfortable they are! I told him that this was one very sexy shoe, if a shoe can be sexy! Beautiful craftsmanship, leather, and style!

I bought these for my husband as a gift. He tried them on and they fit perfectly. Very comfortable and didn't have to break them in. They were true to size. He typically sizes up for Nike tennis shoes but his typical size was perfect. They looked very dressy. I would recommend these shoes.
