This is my second pair of these exact boots, love em. Perfect for that combo blue and white collar job. Good tread so you won't slip on the ice outside, and they look sharp in front of the executives. The side zipper is perfect for donning quickly when you got to run, or taking off at the end of the day. The leather is quality, as expected for JM. An item of concern is the top two hooks for the laces instead of the eyelets. I know with lesser quality shoes they have a tendency to brake off; we shall see what happens. The raised heel will make you stand a little bit taller when you're closing that business deal in front of your competitor, and it's a little reminiscence of the days when we would ride our horses to work. Oh by the way, your wife will appreciate you being a little taller. Nice job on these JM.

I love this boots, I have a few pairs already and I recommend this brand. so far so good. maybe some shoes come with defects some time but they take care of you.

Nice boot with a good fit and great look. I like the side zipper for making them easier to get on and off. The lug sole definitely makes it a jeans only boot.

J Murphy's has been the shoes :mans_shoe: of my choice for 35 years or longer. Now I purchase shirts, socks and sometimes sweaters from JM!! Love the quality and the shoes ability to support my feet and also has a resistant to wrinkles.!!!!

It's comfortable with a fairly aggressive sole that could stand up to hiking if they weren't so dressed up and fancy.
